Reasons for optimism

I do wonder how good Lukaku could have been for us if we'd signed him under Conte, instead of Morata

Sarri would have got rid of him, he doesn't stand for such lack of basic technique.

Scored the winner last night 🙄

That changes everything, bring him back and build the team around him.

First of all thank you Axman for this thread.  I won't repeat all the positives that have been pointed out , just to say this..

Believe it or not I had some of my best days ( and worst) supporting our club when we were in division 2. Remember the song ' we can't win at home and we can't win away....etc,," that's Chelsea!

I left before the final whistle on Saturday, but our support , especially in the 2nf half was superb.

After the unprecedented trauma of last year , we are still here, it's still our club , it's the team we support and love...no matter.

Again, thanks to Ax and all who have looked on the bright side

Win or lose,. Up the BLUES!

Good engagement right? Another reason for optimism, we got lots to look forward to 🙂

TOO much engagement for comfort now @axman2526 🙂 . Would feel more confident about tomorrow with less optimism on here

Our next game is against Leeds, my favorite opponent for us to face and most enjoyable victory.

Will be fun getting our payback for that 3-0.

More likely they have a new manager bounce and batter us. But who knows, maybe we'll be having a new manager bounce by then as well

Ah come on Drogs. Is Leeds at thr Bridge. We know they will bring the most hostile away fans we see all season and the atmosphere will be electric. These occasions are what being a football fan is all about.

Be excited man!

As per @axman2526 's request, my sunny nature and I are here to give this thread a boost. I only just noticed it's in the football part of the forum, I was expecting it in the Lounge part 🤣

Anyway, 17 more days to go before I go to the Everton match. We usually win when I'm there, so expect to see us turn a corner!

Thank you Val for bring your beautiful self here. Be inspired fellow blues.

Also Spurs are going trophless again  🙂

I'm optimistic that 'Grizzly Adams' Pulisic could walk around any football town in the world without being recognized...  he probably has to show two pieces of gov't issued ID at Cobham... 😹😹

If he does not want to be recognized he can just go by his other identity, @USATim
