Hope Chilwell recovers from the shock of southgate giving him a game. Watching this more to see how Mudryk is looking than from an England perspective.

Mudryk has pace.

Let's hope when he plays we make use of it . "Turbo" Werner got fed up calling for an early ball and even pointing to where he wanted it so he could use his pace .

Got to love him though, he never stopped trying.

Ukraine arn’t very good including Mudryk - however they at war ! - under their circumstances we would be rubbish

great play by England - I said earlier in this thread I have never been a big fan of Harry Kane but in this form he is impressive

Cheeky little bid in the summer ? - he won’t be at Spuds that’s for sure

He looks shy of confidence…doesn’t demand the ball enough for my liking. Someone needs to tell him to be more proactive. Judging by an interview with him and some chelsea teammates recently he’s clearly showing something in training which he is not taking on to the pitch because they were impressed with him and it didn’t come across as fake.

He is prime to be loaned out next season ….. needs some games and confidence

Have to say Saka is ten times the player Mudryk seems to be ATM. Physically stronger, better touch, better dribbling, better decision making, more of a goal threat and way, way better defensively.

Can’t disagree with that …. I’ll give him another season at Arsenal would my prediction.

If they win the prem this season then they will be one offs like Leicester or Liverpool

Chelsea Megastore Away Shirt

I am not getting carried away ……. Those two games were easy, only shot on target we conceded.

Italy away is impressive of course but probably the worst a Italy team I have ever seen

Ukraine were not good, but they have a little excuse !

we will beat Macedonia and Malta so we are more or less qualified already, great opportunity for the players to fight for their place

For £88mill that's a bloody expensive loan.  Potter has to stop selecting players that are on the way out. The season is f**ked anyway barring a miracle.

Surely to be expected. Saka has been in English football all his life and been allowed to develop under little pressure. Mudryk has been here five minutes and has a big fee on his head.

I’d say a fairer comparison is with Hudson-odoi. Similar ages, hype as youngsters. Where’s callum?

Mudryk cost £62m. Will only cost £88m if chelsea win the PL, Cl while he is there etc

England virtually always qualify - 94 World Cup and euro 2008 the rare exceptions since the 80s. But it’s about turning up when it matters and I still don’t think we have a coach making the most of the players we have…play pretty dull football, not enough to beat the best.

 Isn’t Lukaku on loan ?

We are kings of qualifying.

But apart from once, we haven't won anything...ever.

It's the most dismal record of any top (?) football nation. But I actually like this team and the players , maybe ...maybe ....

What a fabulous result for Scotland !!!

Steve Clarke: “I haven't felt that good since Archie Gemmill scored against Holland in 1978” 🙂

The sour grapes from Rhodri also made me chuckle, it was reminiscent of Arsene Wenger and the Barcelona sides of old whingeing about teams being negative or too physical, the Spanish sides (club or international sides) are the biggest cheats going, throwing themselves to the deck at the slightest bit of contact, faking injury, time wasting and waving imaginary cards at the referee to get the opponents booked or sent off, yes Barcelona, Real Madirid, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla I am talking about you!

Something hit me a few months back and I haven't been able to shake it since, England are the Tottenham of international football. They have beaten one elite nation in the world cup since they last won it, Argentina in 2002 in the group stage.
