I always think 24 teams with best 3rd finish as dumb format. It make group stage almost meaningless. 

 

Kroos is a Rolls Royce of a player, he could have continued playing at Madrid till 37 if he wanted to. 101 passes completed out of 102 is ridiculous despite the opposition. 

He is who you want Enzo Fernandez to be for us, and he showed it in flashes when he first arrived. Now he thinks he is prime Zidane and  job pitch was how he could get the best out of him. Just leave him deeper and let him dictate the game.

Kroos was class...100% that's what we want from Enzo. Even bring him in to coach enzo 1 on 1.

I haven't seen musiala play a whole match, just highlights, but after yesterday I felt really sad he wanted to leave all those years ago.

I can definitely see Germany reaching the finals...

It was embarrassing...not just the scoreline but the difference in class. I disagree Germany were in 3rd gear as said by the pundits, they didn't get out of first gear.

Got worried that Bohley and Egbahli were firing up the jet when unknown Duah scored for Switzerland, but alls good.  Just checked he’s 27.  Phew.

Germany didn’t have to get out of first gear. Their early goal blew away any chance of Scotland frustrating them.

Germany simply picked Scotland off at will. They knew it and so did Scotland.

It looked like a training game. At one point I thought the soccer aid celebrities looked like they had more anger and urgency than the Scots.
