England able to do what Canada could not, score in their semi final.

Come on England, do it for Southgate and all his critics and naysayers who do see his tactical genius.

Is Bellingham that great??

He'll probably pop up with the decisive goal.

Judging from the first half: despite the Netherlands' early goal that came out of nothing, England is dominating. With a bit more precision, this match is theirs.

Well has just won player of the season in La Liga and scored an overhead kick in a major international tournament

apart from that he’s a w**ker 😂

First England game of the tournament when I've not been shouting for changes at half time.  Best performance by them for years.

Yes the penalty was a shocking decision but these are the people who took a great thing called cheese and turned it into flavourless rubber with a rind called Edam so they deserve a kick in the arse.

Good midfield control for most of it yet poor in front of goal, Foden has had more shots than anyone yet still has not scored.

Neither Bellingham nor Kane know how to move they stay static meaning the chap on the ball can't pass to them.

Trippier is a waste on the left he cannot cross.

This is a results business close shaves do not make goals, I don't expect Southgate to change anything.

The Dutch goal like the Danish one earlier suggests these matches can change very quickly...........

Shaw on for trippier only change that would make a material difference just now

It's been a decent half but we still have a couple of square pegs in round holes that are holding us back. Foden and Saka with Walker overlapping are doing a job on the right, but Bellingham (who keeps drifting into the middle anyway) and Trippier are not offering enough on the left. Bringing on Shaw to provide some actual would help and might also bring Bellingham more into the game.

... And as I typed that, Southgate has made the change. Let's see how it goes.

As far as I can tell, none of the Dutch players has cut holes in his socks. Either they've under developed calf muscles or their socks fit properly

It's all Nike, so I'm going with the underdeveloped calf muscles
