The only one racing for Jackson is Fabrizio Romano, as he hurtles to his phone to tweet whatever made-up nonsense Jackson's agent is feeding him. The club is fantasizing that Newcastle will spend a good proportion of the Isak money on Jackson, ironically like Liverpool did for Andy Carroll. Newcastle won't be so stupid as to spend the majority of the Isak money on Jackson when they already have identified Wissa as their first target, 150m invested correctly over the next 3 years would eliminate any worries about FFP/PSR and allow them to unlock Saudi buying power.

The reality is, thanks to our UEFA transfer restrictions, we are more desperate to sell than any of the listed clubs are to buy. Tottenham might be the only club with both the money and the stupidity to make Winstanley and Stewart's dream come true.

a drop in the ocean, 150 million on players in the premier league over three years might put them closer to the relegation zone.

Oh I meant from a PSR perspective. 150m over three years = 50m/year of squad costs paid for.

That's 5 50m signings every year for three years. Sell a few of those players for 20m each after, rinse and repeat...

Do you know what, a loan deal isnt the end of the world, given the lack of quality strikers available, if we get injuries we could always call him back. Yes i know Pedro and or Delap are much more favourable but if both were out injured, he would be better than nothing. (unlike Nkunku the disinterested)

We have to sell per UEFA. Can’t register players then.

On one hand never saw anyone paying the £80m the club was after, and like someone said I reckon the club banked on Newcastle using some of the money from the sale on Jackson. No way should we be loaning him to Bayern unless they agree to an obligation to buy.

apparently Newcastle just had bid for Strand Larsen rejected by wolves.

Don't think Newcastle are interested in the fraud

maybe we go with some "Premier league only" players this season? weve done crazier things.

agree outright purchase is the best deal but at present its all talk every man and his dog is gonna buy Nico, this is a least an offer.

I think Newcastle might just be poor negotiators they always seem to fail be it a low bid, failure to close a deal or getting beaten to the draw. Maybe.

I can’t help wondering if Bayerns loan bids, initially for Nkunku and now Jackson is just a tactic to get Simons who they are known to want…and will find the money for, no doubt.

Standard tactic from the German teams, offer a loan to try and get the player cheaper just like Dortmund did with Carney. I think Jackson is gonna end up going which is a relief, a few clubs seem to be in for him.

Nobody that is supposedly linked to this guy, or to Nkunku come to that has got any money except Galatasaray. Bayern, Dotmund, Leipzig, Villa. Its all bollox. They will be loans only and the deals that were definitely going to happen here won't happen either. The only one likely will be Garnacho because they will find a way to sell Tyrique George to pay for it.

Nkunku also agreed terms with Bayern. They need to agree terms with us though a loan plus buy option was not enough for nkunku and it won't be enough for nico.
