We deserved the win but f**k me we need to get more bodies in the box no wonder we don’t score goals

No one sprints to get in the box when the opportunity arises...it's stop and play the ball backwards.

Yer right... the number of time it goes in there or could be put in there from out wide...  and you look and there is just no one fk'g there - unbelievable!

Where's Drogba?

Has he got any kids - maybe he's got one old enough for the youth team 😁

It’s Geordie TV tonight on Sky

I still don't know who the co-commentator was, but by Christ he didn't have one single thing to say in our favour. Every tackle we made was a booking, every ball forward was a definite off-site. Completely anti-Chelsea.

It wasn't @Whats_The_Mata? was it?

Poch have a lot to thank Trippier for tonight. Great to go through but that was a lucky escape in the end.

On the whole we are also painfully average still. And half the side in wrong positions is getting increasingly frustrating.

At best he can be our Gronkjaer.

Doubt he will ever be this balon d'Or candidate our recruitment team believes he can be.

And that's the wonderful thing about football isn't it... you just never know... KDB and Salah etc...

I am getting to the point where I cannot watch the punditry on TV anymore.

Absolute c**ts taking total arse gravy. The narrative is becoming fking embarrassing now.

Shay Given talking about Newcastles poor bench with 2 keepers and just kids. In other words exactly the same as our bench you mindless tw@t

And Newcastle would have had a lot to thank Colwill and Badiashile for if they had held on. Two shots on target in 94 minutes. They must feel robbed.

Sky literally taking the piss, we win and it’s all about Newcastle

Was thinking ... Nobody likes us (anymore) and we don't care..... wrong Lion and wrong part of London but that's how it seems we're viewed

Hopefully Lavia will give us another option, he’s the only player I can think of replacing Gallagher for some games.

Isn't Ugochukwu fit currently?

Not sure I can remember us having much more than two either until Trippier helped us out tbh.

I think Gallagher did everything. He is not your next Ballon dor winner but he gives everything and is excellent in timing his tackles when opponent tries a neat pass.

And kills almost every attack he is involved in. I thought he was worse than ever on the ball tonight.

Don Goodman. He's completely sh*t and is a Championship co commentator.  Fking awful.

So you don't think we bossed that game then? Only one team trying to win it on my TV. But God forbid you can actually celebrate or give the team any credit. No surprise there.

Yep. It's all "Newcastle have so many injuries".....yeah, well try that for 3 years straight. No team has had it as hard as us in that area.

The trouble is our attacking is non existent so we needed extra players to offer something in attack which exposes Gallagher’s weakness. For example Kante never had to do much in attack but he was fantastic. Gallagher need to adopt a similar role as Kante but he can’t really do that with our attack doing nothing.

Hopefully with time Mudryk, Nkunku etc will form an understanding and Gallagher can focus on what he does best.

Didn't you use to hate sideways football? That's exactly what that was.

And I do give the team some credit but my main gripe is still with the manager for his dispositions.

We completely dominated that game bar the one stupid mistake. Agree with Whitewall that we stuff up many simple passes but we dominated the game. They may be tired but they are well in front of us on the table and we showed we are easily a better side at the moment.

Just as much as they have to thank Badiashille . On the whole we were the better team by so much that only those that want to see everything negative can complain. If there was any luck it was for them to have scored a goal.
