July 5Jul 5 I find it amazing that after selling off our academy players, fans still think we are going to sign, or the club and board are capable of signing better replacements. If you think this, honestly, what have you been watching for four years? It hasnt happened in any transfer bar Palmer and we have spent 1.5 billion. Even more bizarre is the fact people think Wharton would be the midfield saviour. Overlooked for England and has an atrocious injury record, probably fits the recruitment bill exactly. The folk who claim our own are not up to the job want to sign players from smaller clubs at greater cost, when the evidence is screaming at you this just doesnt happen. Imagine, If we had given the same minutes to George as we have Neto, Garnacho, Gittens, Hell we even had Madueke who is proving to a global audience what bang-average footballers look like. We would have 150 million to spend on other players who could do a job and not look for the next superstar talent. It beggers beliefe fans think the board want anything other than profit... We've pretty much sold all our most profitable youngsters and now have what exactly left to sell?

City opted for Andersen, Sp*rs have got Tonali & Fernandes, Utd seem keener on Baleba. It’s us or the victims if he moves this summer.Since no one is interested in Enzo, they are actively trying to sell Andre Santoshttps://www.theguardian.com/football/2026/jul/05/andrey-santos-manchester-united-chelsea-transfer

July 5Jul 5 Author Selling Santos and keeping Lavia would fall in line with BlueCo's project in making the manager's job as difficult as possible.
July 6Jul 6 f**ks sake, this is the reality of football under ffp/pss or whatever other throttling cheating thing they bring in to keep the old G14 teams ahead of everyone else.

July 6Jul 6 He leaves having contributed 6 goals and 6 assists in 1646 minutes of first team action as a raw 18-20 year old who's been shunted around multiple positions which aren't necessarily his best one. The sort of record we'd all love to see from our so-called better forwards that we've paid a fortune for.Good luck to him in the rest of his career anyway !

Garnacho V George = George Gittens V George = GeorgeUKR experimental drug mule V George = George Neto V George = I cant stand Neto George wins it. he's plenty good enough to be in the Chelsea squad over the toss we have signed for close to 250 million pounds. (quarter of a billion) perhaps see the bigger picture? We are and have been asset stripped by vulture capitalists over the past four years with most signings being worse than the players being sold. The academy boys have kept Blue Co and the club financially viable/solvent. We are running out of players to sell for big bucks. Im hoping you can see the issue with this model.
July 6Jul 6 Multiple things can be true at once. Most of those players we've signed can be not good enough. And George can be not good enough.
July 6Jul 6 Evil Saka has not shown enough, either for us, or during his time on loan in the EPL. A level or 2 below every other winger we have.

George isn’t , at this point in time, close to being a starter and I for one can’t say that I am sad to see him go.Of course I wish him well but sorry I think that this is a good deal all round
