I don't believe Anselmino belongs in the same bracket as those 3.  Barco who went to Brighton was much highly rated.

No doubt the step up is huge, but they are talents and deserve a chance. The prior comment on Endrick is somewhat misplaced also. Took Vini Jnr 3-4 years to settle at Madrid. Patience is key otherwise we’ll end up with a Salah or KDB scenario. Trouble is patience doesn’t win matches. 

Estevao would be Madueke/Neto's understudy. 

Santos would be with Lavia/Enzo/Caicedo. 

 

Isn't like we are throwing them to the wolves here.

Pretty much yeah. I think long term Estevao will 100% make it at the highest level, Paez will so long as his attitude is right and Santos is already PL ready. Anselmino i have no clue about as i've hardly seen anything about him. 

Short term though we just need to be realistic with our expectations.

That was quite literally the point of the comment about Endrick. Vini was used as an example in the first place.

I see.  I was referring to the comment about starting against a third div side in the cup, and overlooked the preceding comments.  My bad.

Vini was supposed to be Hazard’s understudy. Hazard’s injury forced Real to throw Vini in where he basically had to sink or swim. 
 

That shouldn’t be the case with Estevao. At the moment it looks like he has players ahead of him until he gets the hang of the league. 

Endrick has to move players who are worth individually at least £100 million to get minutes outside of the Copa Del Rey.

Estevao doesn’t have the same level of competition at Chelsea. I’m hopeful we’ll see plenty from him next season but I’m a realist. It’s a massive jump in fitness, weather, food, culture and intensity. 
 

Put it this way. If he ends up playing over half our league games next season then it’s likely he is the real deal and we have something really special. 
 

I’ve watched quite a few of Estevao’s and Paez games this season. I think Paez will be a very consistent player. Endrick might not get that consistency but looks to have a bit of magic about him.

This is the whole point of the discussion though. People are posting on here expecting him to come in and start every week and perform and he's going to be the saviour of our club.

Its what normally happens with some fans, build this kind of scenario that has little basis in reality ad absolutely ne comment from the club, then rage at the club when it doesnt actually happen. Same as all the transfer rumour bo**ocks. 

I think patience is key and when we are smart we all get that and understand that it will take time. But then on another level we all want Lamine Yamal type who comes straight into the first team. Not likely to happen. Not in this league. Patience.

BUT. What needs to happen is Enzo Maresca has to be a lot smarter when using his attacking substitutions. We have Nkunku and Felix and Maresca has really failed to utilise them properly.  When it comes to subs and rotation Enzo the Elder really must do better.  These South American kids next season will need some minutes.

We all get hyped by potential, but transfermarkt has this kid as our 7th most valuable player already. A lot of the guys hyped on here aren't valued yet. Here's transfer markets valuations for players younger than Cole Palmer for Chelsea

My friend you put it way too nicely. He was pants, absolute dog sh*te. His youtube highlights from his first three seasons in Madrid are a clown fest. We "missed out" on Endrick and Vitor Roque and managed to secure Kendry Paez and Estevao. My hope is that it will go down in history like when Man United 'missed out' on Ricardo Quaresma and signed Cristiano Ronaldo instead.

16 m was Deivid Washington.

Based on what Maresca wants from him wide players, and shown by that he is not willing to play Palmer out wide. IF Big Enz is still the manager next season, will Estevao (and Paez) just be back ups to Cole Palmer?
