It is different though PL is very challenging for player who is not ready physically.

He's a winger, you can get away with not being physically perfect. Someone like Paez might struggle though.

I thought Paez stood up to a physical battle pretty well in the Copa America during the summer.  Be interesting to see how the step up to the PL is handled.

That's great but neither were as highly rated as Estevao. If any other top team had signed this guy they would keep him and use him in their squad.

Santos captaining the U20's to an U-20's championship as captain and top scorer from CM, he definitely was incredibly highly rated.

Good read that.

I never get too excited about the next big thing but this kid seems like the real deal.

The massive difference in the speed and intensity of the PL will be huge for him to overcome but here’s hoping . Same goes for Paez.

Right now, Estevao and Paez feel like we hit the football manager jackpot.  They need time to settle, and adapt, largely to the physicality of the league (and the UK weather!).  Can't wait to watch their evolution and growth in the coming years.

Don't want to get ahead of myself because we have been here before with the so called next best Brazilian talent, but everything so far suggests this kid is the real deal.

Just broke Neymars record at 17yrs old. Lets put it this way, i am so glad we have him instead of Man City or Madrid

I really want to get excited for this kid. But I'm still worried about throwing him into the first team his first year outside South America.

I'm watching savinho at man city every chance I can to see how he does. I know it's a different setup and environment, and each kid is different but it's helping to ease my worries slightly when he plays well. Unfortunately it does the opposite when he doesn't too...lol

Remember Savio is mentored by Pep. All individual brilliance will be sucked out of him and and risk to his game removed. he's gone from an exciting electric winger that now gains yards before cutting the ball back to the fall back to recycle possession.

Yeah, I noticed that too.

Makes me think even more about how palmer did the right thing joining chels, not just because of playing time but his freedom in the way he plays. I don't think he would have got that at mcfc. Well, not as much freedom anyway.

Let's hope any more gems there get a hint...we need a goalkeeper. 🤣

If I recall, he signs for us Jul 1, 2025.  Chelsea and Palmeiras are both participating in the Fifa World Club Cup, Jun 15 to Jul 13, 2025.  No ideas of fixtures yet, but what happens if both Chelsea and Palmeiras fixtures go beyond Jun 30 - will he join us mid tournament or sit it out?

Big picture the above doesn't matter, but just curious.  We must be patient also - took Vini Jnr until his 4th season to find his feet at Real.

So you're saying 2029 before he looks decent?

Same as Mudryk and Sancho.

Ha, hopefully earlier. Just saying at such a young age, it may take a little bit of time! Hopefully I’m wrong and he hits the ground running like Hazard!

Apparently he's due to visit London in December. He'll visit Cobham, maybe even be introduced at the Bridge before a game.

Hopefully they'll be more news nearer the time.

I’d imagine Paez will be with him as he’s due to come across again.

Keep them away from Enzo jnr or any of the naughty kids.

They go out clubbing, get pissed and cfc's player services are woken up at 4am to pick up 2 intoxicated minors from the police station! Lol

With Paez It seems there's every chance this may happen tbh, but Estevão is portraited to be the "good kid", listening to gospel music while everyone else is pumping up Brazilian funk. Kid's got a pro mentality already and I'm pretty sure he'll be a hit, just hoping he can come out of his career unscathed by injuries.

Called again for national team over Endrick.

Madrid was a bad move for Endrick, he isn’t getting game time ahead of Mbappe. Needs to get out of there.

I can see us going for him as the Enzo swap rather than Tchou. We were the other club who really tried to get him when he chose Madrid.

It would make sense as it wouldn’t stop Jackson’s development or Endricks. If we sign a guaranteed starter at 9 then where does that leave Jackson?
