Not really. He's been productive on both sides. All his assists came on the left and goals on the right.

He has 1 goal and 2 assists in 11 PL appearances right?

Wouldn't say that. Take away Wolves his productivity this season has been astonishingly bad. He works hard but needs to be doing far better in the attacking end.

Could of sworn I read somewhere Paez will be loaned to Strasbourg.

Sancho/Mudryk    Palmer/Felix   Neto/Estevao

You take out Palmer and “potential” in Estevao, the other 4 will struggle to hit 15 league goals amongst them.

I reckon it will be Neto/Sancho on the left, and Madueke/Estevao on the right. Still think Felix will be gone in the summer.

Who is more productive and who is better imo is not important discussion.

Unless you are palmer and jackson who we all know not going to be sold, the discussion should be more on who is realistically can be sold.

Felix, sancho, neto were signed last summer, it will be difficult to move them.

Moving Mudyrk, madueke n nkunku are far more realistic. Out of these three, I can see Mudryk being the most difficult to move. Madueke is probably the easiest which is why he was on sale last summer. (Of course all of this still depend on how much is our asking price)

In rgds to who's being sold, along with other criteria of course. Profit, loss, ceiling, etc...

Isn't it a highly incentivised contract with a new contract issued when targets are hit. I think it's safe to assume that only jacko and Palmer have reached those targets as they signed new contracts.

My question is...would it also be safe to assume if targets are not hit over a period of time, then there would also be something in the contracts about being replaced without "moaning"?*

I personally have never seen a professional footballers contract and not one from clearlakes cfc btw, so fkn knows whats in it. I have been working in different fields and those contracts ive signed are no where near alike or similar in any way. Basically no contract is the same.

So I don't expect arsenal's to be the same as spuds or ours for example...

*moaning...I know it's not moaning, it's late, tired but can't sleep. Half zombie atm. Lol but you know what I mean. Provision of being sold or lent out to another club, etc.

Madueke and Gusto are about to offered improved contracts by the board according to the papers. A few fans on here won’t be happy about the former.

Back to Estevao; notched another assist yesterday and Palmeiras are joint leaders in Brazilian Serie A, and on course to retain the title with 3 games to go. Paez is also not doing too shabby; Independiente Del Valle are joint top also with 2 games to go.

After it popped up on YouTube, I've just watched 16 minutes of this lad looking like prime Pele, Maradona, Messi and yet, why can't I shake the feeling that he will come here, show a couple of flashes but look lightweight in pre-season against Miami Rovers and then be loaned out and never deemed to be ready for the PL?

Is anyone convinced he'll arrive and walk into the first team and make a difference?

Short term he may not or may not need time to adapt and acclimatise so in that sense I see your point that we can't pin our entire hopes next term on him.

Long term he's far too good to fail short of crippling injuries or suddenly adopting a Ravel Morrison like attitude, he's at young Hazard/Neymar territory of obvious.

Unless we purchase a significantly better right winger than what we have in the summer, he will have little difficulty getting into the first team assuming he works hard off the ball as well.

I don't think he will make a difference like Hazard or something as there are quite a few squad issues that need addressing before that becomes the case.

The talent here is undeniable, the surest thing I’d say since Hazard.
That said moving to Europe and the toughest league in the world is bound to throw up some obstacles. I’d happily ride those out with an up and down season next year from him as once settled I think he’ll be a game changing player.

I hope you're all right and he is as good as the highlight reel suggests. With Paez as well, it looks like we have some fantastic Latin talent for next season.

I think people are underestimating how big the step up will be for him.

Vini was very average in his first three seasons in La Liga with much better players around him. Neymar was 4 years older when he made the move. Look at Endrick now and how he's coping.

I'm not expecting much at all outside of cup appearances and the occasional league game for the first 18 months at least.

It's not so much underestimating the step up, it's more that he doesn't have to do much to be better than our current wingers.

personally i think this is a ridiculous statement but we'll see.

I'm not saying he won't face any struggles, that's normal for any player nevermind an 18 year old, but if he can do half of what he does in Brazil here then he's already better than our current wingers.

I'd be impressed if he manages 3 league goals in his first season, which is probably a better return than Neto can manage actually.

But i think that you are only looking at technical ability, which is undeniable from the show reels.

To me he looks lightweight for our league and will need time to acclimatize and "man up". C Ronaldo had significant potential but was just too lightweight when he first arrived. After he beefed up his potential was able to flourish.

I would be surprised to see any of what we are seeing on Youtube developing in the PL until maybe his second season here. I would still keep him here but i would be using him from the bench throughout that first year

There is no doubt in my mind Estevao will be a top player. We as fans shouldn’t expect too much though. A massive life change for him and he will require time to settle and understand the PL.

Endrick isn’t the best comparison tbh as he has genuine world class players keeping him out. I don’t see the same problems for Estevao.

I can see Endrick moving on from Madrid and we might be the club that does it.

Endrick just started last game against a third division side in the cup and couldn't score, when players like Guler are getting a brace in the same game. Honestly, the step up from Brazil to European top leagues is HUGE.

So Estevao, Santos, Paez and Anselmino are all just hopeful punts in reality. With such a HUGE step up from South America to the EPL, all of them could be found massively wanting. Oh well, the excitement was good while it lasted! Good news for Ligue1 though.

Agreed in general but Endrick has the quality I reckon.

Every youngster coming from South America is a gamble but they are considered the top talents on the continent.

High hopes for all 4

Naturally isn't going to be doing things like that in his first season here but there will be glimpses as there was with Ronaldo when he started.
