According to reports now Paez and Estevao are planned to come straight into first team as soon as they turn 18. Next season that is. Whether they stay there the entire season depends on many things.

But by the looks of it both have the chops to make it. Especially Paez looks very ready.

Are they as good as Yamal?

Immpossible  to know. It’s the maturity of yamal’s play that is so impressive rather than the individual skills.ne seems to make really good decisions quickly and then execute them. Mostly, to me, it seems like he is doing something simple, a cross, a pass a shot. Quite different to say a young CR7

The Yamal that started the season wasn't the Yamal you see now so not really a fair comparison. He's developed a lot in a very short space of time, it's possible same could happen to either Estevao or Paez if given run of games.

Talentwise arguably better, impossible to say how they'll adapt to a new country and league though. Going into adult football playing for the club you've been at since you were 6 must be a lot easier than moving half way across the world and playing with men you've never met and don't speak your language. Time will tell.

He's injured now?

So now they just have to sign for us and not actually come to the club before they get injured!

OK...who's playing with voodoo, black magic and sh*t!

I bet its the spuds!

It's just a sprained ankle and to be honest he is lucky he ended the game that way.

I read the reports of that match and he was double teamed for most of the match and fouled like never before.

Teams are kicking the sh*t out of him since his transfer was announced. Same thing happens to all kids when they sign for a big club outside Brazil and they play against clubs with nothing to lose. Brazilian football is brutal.

Estevao has a bit of a mean streak about him though, like Hazard and Vinicius, he will absolutely arc up and stand his ground. Love to see it.

Can Estevao and Paez play for us in the Club World Cup?

Yes

I believe I remember seeing one of Palmeries conditions for selling Estevao was that he would play for them at the CWC before joining us.

Beyond excited for Estevio and Paez.  They'll take some time to adapt to new country, league and physicality, but bring it on!  No idea what it means for Neto, Palmer, Nkunku, Felix, Noni and Mudryk (although I think the latter two will likely make way).

I really want to buy into the hype that Estevao and Paez are the real deal and not just two more overhyped South American players, but past experiences hold me back.

It's players like these two that make me even more confused about Maresca being our manager. They're flair players, Nkunku is a flair player, as is Felix, Palmer, Madueke, it's seems like a mismatch.

I'm going to try and set an alarm for these. I want to see what all the hype is about for myself. Really interested in those 2 new kids.

I will take a guess now that Paez leads to Nkunku leaving and Estevao leads to Palmer leaving.

May not happen next summer but I expect we end up with:

Estevao/Felix

Paez/Mec

Neto/Mudryk

If they each continue on the path they are on and what they are doing now, I see Neto and felix leaving before palmer.

I would love to see palmer in the middle, estevao on the right and paez on the left with a target man in front of palmer. Oooo....if the hype is correct there would be some beautiful link up play.

But like I said in a different thread, I really doubt they will go straight into the squad when they arrive next year. It will fk them up mentally to go from south america straight into the PL at 18. A year or 2 on loan starting with Europe to ease them in gently.

By then fk knows what players we will have at chelsea because of dumb and dumber, lol.
