I don’t normally watch the pre-match lip service but I want to see what these lots say today.

I doubt any of us know for sure. However get full pay off and go and play week and week out seems like something, at this stage of his career, he would want.

Definitely. Issue is Clearlake aren’t in the business of paying off players to leave. They’d rather ship him off on loan every year.

that's his team protecting the player - and controlling the narrative.

To be fair - he couldn't have done anymore than he has to try and make a place for himself under maraca. Came back early. Played ok pre season. Scored pre season. So he probably feels hard done by.
