July 28Jul 28 Did anyone see his highlights in our friendly?Seriously he is so bad. Worse than any player ive ever seen play for Chelsea. Twice as bad as Mudryk. He's an absolutely shocking footballer.

July 28Jul 28 I expected him to look sharp today if I'm honest, but no such luck. I wouldn't be against a loan and seeing how he does as a starter somewhere rather than sell him but I'm not arsed if he was sold, he just can't be here next season.

I am against him playing again for us. Every time he steps on the field he makes it less likely we exit him.Bench him, send him back to the UK, with a leak that keeping him safe as likely to be sold shortly. Drum up maximum amount of interest and hope he gets bought for 35m so we can make our money back. Right now hopefully people still have this view "ah you can't judge a player who doesn't do well at Chelsea". If we loan him and he comes back next summer, he will be seeing out his contract with us.

The skills, the instincts aren't there, certainly not at anything near top level. Championship, fine.

No one is daft enough to pay a transfer fee for these players (I'm convinced that Garnacho is coming back after his Villa loan). We have to keep loaning these players out until their contracts run out.

Fofana not going anywhere.

July 29Jul 29 We need to move him on. Best for all involved. He’s been poor with his back to goal, struggles against a low block, technically a bit messy, and the constant fouling and yellows is a waste of time. Hes better on counter leading breaks - like what we saw at Ipswich. Welbeck would be a better option right now.
July 29Jul 29 I think we could be pleasantly surprised with the numerous suitors and the 40-45 million asking price.
July 29Jul 29 I think he misunderstood what "fighting for his place" means.Elbowing people and breaking jaws is not the kind of "fight" we're looking for, Liam.
July 29Jul 29 Author Nottingham Forest currently leading the chase, Everton also linked. What's the betting this one ends up a loan as well?

August 11Aug 11 Wouldn't be too concerned about the asking price as Delap's only market is the Premier League and all clubs have money to spend, barring PSR crap. Can't see anyone in Europe thinking "he'd thrive in this league"... maybe a lesser Bundesliga side would take him on loan, but then it ruins our international loan spots so that scenario is likely out of the picture.
August 12Aug 12 Forest would probably be a good move for him, hopefully there's something to these rumours and we don't get greedy

Irony is we have 2-3 to shift.
