At top clubs against low blocks, he has far less room to operate, which exposes his limitations. It was a bizarre Arsenal signing IMO.I almost forgot — thank you Arsenal. 😉 Edited May 8May 8 by acaeus

I don’t think that Madueke is a good player, but Neto and Garnacho are rubbish. Madueke may not have close-control and may dribble in long strides, Neto and Garnacho can’t control nor dribble for their life. They are sh*te and selling Madueke to get Garnacho was the typical backward step from the board and SDs.

I'm pretty confident Garnacho has a higher ceiling tho, but I can agree that it was a downgrade at the time.Enzo being a great player is a bit of a stretch; I think he's a good player and far from "sh*t" esp in this IMO sh*tty roster.Well, time will tell. We will see where these players go from here.

I know because that was my game too when I played at amateur level back then. These types of players are a dime a dozen... but he's English. He does have a decent shot in him though; other than that it's just pace and power.I do need to emphasize that even then I'd not have sold him; same way I'd have kept Gallagher because I suspect much of the poor individual poor are down to the squad's lack of depth. I agree that all three are terrible anyway, but if Madueke was here with us, then I wouldn't bet against Madueke's performances being worse than both Neto and Garnacho.

Not enough end product.

Still he'd rather be back up to Saka than back up to Net Zero surely?

Madueke is a left footer and much better on the right and it kinda make sense for Arse to sign backup for Saka as Saka has chronic hammy issue.

Gabrielli than stepped up and scored some clutch goals re-cementing his place allied to the habitual injuries of Saka, hence why he has become a back up to either side.
May 11May 11 It does seem we will have a better chance in the cup final by playing Cucurella wide left rather than any of our actual wingers. The money we have wasted on players like Garnacho, Gittens and even Neto is criminal. Folk talk about how we could have got Olise, Semenyo or even Kvaratskhelia. Those players have all ended up at Top clubs so not sure if that was just wishful thinking but I look at Summerville at West Ham and Christ, he is 100% better than any wide man we have currently. West Ham look certs to go down now so I would be picking Summerville up to replace Garnacho as soon as the season is over.

He was all tricks and flicks, if he lost the pill that was it. Works a whole lot harder now, even tracks back. Still just a bit lightweight for me.

May 20May 20 Fairly damming that McFarlan is playing two left back starts ahead of wingers in our side. It's almost like he's channeling the ghost of Bobby D Mateo in 2012.
May 20May 20 Saw the best of him last night. Came on with very little time left and hardly touched the ball. Helped us hugely in that respect. One of his better cameos.
