Rigid manager who plays a rigid system needs certain profiles. Santos and Lavia are similar as deep midfielders and Essugo has a profile akin to Caicedo imo.

I like Essugo but he's nowhere near the same profile of player as Caicedo, maybe in the ball winning part of the game but Essugo is very raw.

I thought Essugo was a new signing as well, and now I'm thinking Who the f**k is Quenda.

I dunno. But I do hope while he is here he gets married to a nice girl called Brenda.

I'm just glad that we gave Amougou a good crack at establishing himself before we signed someone to replace him ...

Who we signing next to replace Anselmino and Caleb Wiley?

Ugochukwu would like a slot in the team - also cut short by Amougous arrival.

He's too old LOL.

But yes .... 23/24 Ugochukwu, 24/25 Amougou, 25/26 Essugo ... all pretty much the same DM player and none of whom are going to get any game time ahead of Caicedo or Lavia. And we haven't even mentioned Andrey Santos yet LOL.

Has anyone written a Squad Building for Dummies book that we can send to Stamford Bridge c/o Winstanley and Stewart ?

Then that surely makes Ugochukwu a candidate for Arsenal Retirement Home. Clever move by SDs.

I fear we need squad building for absolute thickos who probably can barely dress themselves without mummy’s help

Amougou had a whopping 22 minutes of gametime in both the Prem and the Conference league this season. This makes him a Chelsea legend compared to the legions of youngsters who we've signed and who'll never kick a ball for us 😂

It really has crossed the realm of ridiculousness after the Poch season

Another great example of how clueless the people who are running this club are. The guy says his idol is "William Carvalho" and they show our own Ricardo "Percy" Carvalho. Yeah well, one Carvlaho or another, who cares.

Yeah I saw that as well. To be fair not sure if the editor of the video sent this to the people who are running the club. 😃
