Have to say, Pedro has probably been the biggest disappointment so far this season, after looking really good in the CWC. Of course, like others, he probably needed a longer summer break and a bit of fatigue is the reason for the drop off. But with Palmer out, really needed him to step up but instead he's gone missing a bit. Can only hope that the return of Delap helps his game big-time and the two of them win us some games. Seriously hope that now he's had his big move and is on big money and living the life in London, he isn't one of those players who has got too comfortable. He wouldn't be alone - appears to be rife in the modern game.

Enzo Maresca Names Three Serious Injury Concerns for Chelsea

There is some positive injury news for Chelsea to counter Maresca’s concerning revelation.

He is one of the many who are apparently carrying injuries. The cost of the CWC winners badge weighs ever heavier...

Not that I disagree but the whole attack is a bit disjointed so I can't be too harsh on him. Plays as a 9 and he gets no service. Gittens, Garnacho, Enzo, Buonanotte have largely been poor in open play - Estevao and Neto have been decent. Plays as a 10 and he's had to feed Tyrique mostly. Plus carrying some niggles and maybe some fatigue.

Look at Wirtz - he hasn't been great but he has had some good moments. Again, the problem is that attack is so disjointed right now.

    Aye, but is not a surprise.

    A few throught the destroyed pre season schedule, and lack of rest, would see us get more injuries and poorer performances than is normal.

    Hopefully the money made will cover another season of no CL football. Cause we won't Be making top 5 this season. Am calling that right now.

    So then why does he continue to have Enzo play and do f**k all for 90 minutes?

    Why is it now he only started playing Guiu, and why was Buonanotte dropped from the squad at the weekend?

    Why didn't he bring on Santos to play deeper and bare the burden with Caicedo, or why not have Lavia take some of Caicedo's minutes?

    His inexperience in knowing how to manage a squad is showing yet again.

    Exactly half his Brighton goals were penalties. Given he isn't our penalty taker, I think you won't be far off with this assessment.

    Much like Neto, he's a solid squad player we overpaid by double what they're actually worth.

    As a diversion....What's the betting, that ratio wise , Delap's goal tally will be worse than Jacko's come end of season ?

    Btw Jacko used to miss loads of chances, but it doesn't seem that we are making tons of chances any more ??

    Let's stop the Jackson talk. We are so much better off without him and hopefully he will end up somewhere like West Ham.
