March 1Mar 1 Being gaslighted constantly from pundits this is a rejuvenated Man United side. Not once mentioning their season ended in December and have one league game a week since.

March 2Mar 2 Author What a load of nonsense this is. Wenger shouldn't be coming up with any ideas when it comes to changes to the game.Idiots think it removes VAR checking for anything a millimetre offside, but it doesn't. It just means the refs will be checking if the attackers whole body is ahead of the defender, down to the last millimetre. This also means every team will sit deep, because what idiot will play a highline with this rule? It also just favours speed merchants and removes actual skill from the game like timing of a players run. This makes no improvement to the game, it's just change for the sake of change.

I think most fans hate to see a disallowed goal when an attacker is judged to be offside down to his big toe or his arm. Clear daylight will make things a whole lot clearer and better so goals that should never have been ruled out will now stand. I'm all for it TBH.

They will need to check it the attackers heel is a millimetre behind the defender, so this solves nothing.I don't see how this is at all fair to the defender either. They can never have their body facing forward, they will always have to have their body facing their own goal. If they have their body turned to face the opposition, they will lose several yards when they are forced to turn around and chase an attacker. The game will become even more focused on speed merchants like Adama Traore who can barely kick a football. The only option teams will have is to sit deeper than ever.

I think it used to be daylight between attacker and defender. VAR and its capacity for micro analysis screwed things.15 minutes ago, Zeta said:This is just the old rule from years ago re-hashed isn't it?

Linos can retrain as refs or jog on, so saves wages for the leagues/organizations too.

March 3Mar 3 I gather the current IT is pundits, presenters and ex players predicting the outcome of the various CL matches.Every one I have seen so far all predict PSG to beat us and majority have Arsenal winning it.
March 3Mar 3 Anyone seen this none pen at Leeds tonight? Apparently a Sunderland player had his arms around a Leeds players neck and upper body and brought him to the ground and VAR did nothing?Anyone Seen this?
March 3Mar 3 They thing is, when you see the still image and the line drawn , how does anyone know that that is the exact instant that the ball was played through to the player ? When they freeze that image, we are accepting that they've got the exact timing of the forward pass correct , but they never seem to show us the full picture. . Just a frame or 2 out and it affects the outcome.
