I forgive him the silly haircut.

So this is how mild a person can become with age. I'm not there yet, although I admit there is some tolerance in me on a few occasions.

If he hadn’t lost brain cells in the cause I’d’ve called him a nancy.

Glad he seems OK and is recovering. He made a promising debut and I hope to see him get more chances next season.

Maybe, just maybe, these imbeciles can learn from Tyrique George and utilize Derry instead of spending 100m on two players who aren't even better. (Garnacho + Gittens)

Signed a contract extension, and gone on a season long loan at Sporting Lisbon. Presumably as a direct replacement for Quenda.

Would have preferred a PL loan to Lamp’s Coventry, or even the championship. You would think the club requested game time guarantee.

Mixed feelings on this one, Sporting seems a great destination for someone of his talents in a league that will allow them to flourish. However I really wanted to see him get more minutes for us, when the alternatives are Neto, Garnacho or Gittens.

Pretty positive. If he's going to be a future star he will perform at sporting. Whereas he still might not get a look in here.

Find it interesting how tricky it's been the last few years for young players to get a lot of first team minutes in the last 5 years.

Harry Kane is regarded as a late bloomer, but he'd already scored 15-20 goals (albeit for Orient) when he was 18. Guehi / Mount had played loads. Can't say that about many players these days. A lot of hoarding happening with young players just sticking around the club.

A hopefully recovered Estêvão and the arrival of Quenda likely to restrict his opportunities. Loan seems sensible.

He was our best player the last time he played.

Hope they actually play him

If he is ever going to be good enough to be in our first team it will be in his hands.

No one who is good enough to play for us would be benched by sporting Lisbon.

Good move for Derry and Chelsea. It's not a coincidence that England's international prospects have drastically improved since English kids started playing in other leagues more frequently. Both the mens and womens teams are reaping the benefits.
