Tonight feels like a bit of a “make-up exam.” I just hope West Ham won’t be too fired up after their humiliation in the first round — and of course, it’s also a London derby.

What worries me is that they have Potter now, and I’m sure "his players will give everything".

Anyone and most importantly our players thinking this will be an easy game, will be in for a massive shock.

West Ham hate us (jealousy), it’s their first home game of the season and after last week they will need a reaction.

This won’t be easy. Even though they are sh*t and could well go down.

It might be a good indication of how our season pans out though or at least how we are going to play. I’m going to let the first game of the season go, they often throw up strange results and no team is really in gear yet and our pre season prep was really non existent.

We have a young energetic pacey team, I don’t want us to play like a bunch of 30+ yr olds knocking it about in Seria A.

Fire them up Enzo and send them out like a pack of hungry dogs.

Agree about Enzo on the bench, I want Santos in for his legs. We can’t have passengers in midfield not in away games in the prem.

He doesn’t want to get spanked two weekends in a row. I would bet his first game plan is to not concede in the first half, then try nick something in the second half. Potter knows if he plays football against us he’s getting hammered, he’s not a stupid coach.

One of the away fixtures I dislike the most because they are always up for it no matter how sh*te they are. And we always seem to be playing them when we are on the up and seen as big favourites, but somehow manage to f**k things up.

We should be winning this, but IMHO it won't be as straightforward as a lot think. On paper, they do not have a dog sh*te team at all and that w**ker Ward Prowse always finds a way to play the game of his life against us.
