It is hilarious how some people still advocate for him to be here. The cartel and fanboys previously argued hard - and now, some members still try to spin and change history, and claim it was a mistake to let him go. It wasnt a mistake. He was one of the worst player we have ever had. 2 goals against some african part timers dont change that. It is genuinely funny.

After another non scoring striker failed i think its time to acknowledge another mistake by our SDs. They ve done it before they can do it again....

Hes under contract, hes our player, theres no concrete plan to bring a striker in during January. We need a striker if we are to grasp anything from this season.

What are these morons waiting for ? get him brought back a bit sharpish, dont let Maresca arse about managing his minutes. Get him in the starting 11 you never know he might even save marescas job.

He cant do worse than Delap Guiu and George surely?

Things have got so dire in terms of actually winning games and accumulating points i dont think we have any other options.

Why did they think it was a good idea to bring in Delap, a striker who had a single decent season at relegation fodder, and get rid of Jackson who had scored 15 non-pen goals for us in his first season, and 10 goals last season. Sure, he would miss chances and he's not Haaland, but with the scarcity of strikers out there, along with this ownership's reluctance to spend money on a top striker, it would made the most sense to have kept him here alongside Delap. Goals aside he also linked up well with certain players, and his movement off the ball and his hold up play were exactly what we could be using this season. Another brainfart from the so called football experts we have running the club.

Not exactly ripping it up on loan in the one horse league.

According to Absolut Bayern, Nicolas Jackson has now been sidelined. The Senegalese player will have to watch Wednesday evening’s DFB Cup quarter-final against RB Leipzig at the Allianz Arena from the sidelines.

At Tuesday’s press conference, coach Vincent Kompany announced that he would have to disappoint another star player . The reason for this is actually quite positive: all the players of the German record champions are currently fit.

If all the professionals remain fit, Kompany plans to rotate players in the stands over the coming weeks . Most recently, Kim was the one who missed out, as Bayern Munich have defenders like Josip Stanisic and Hiroki Ito available, who can play both center-back and full-back.

It would not be shocking for Jackson to be the next player left out based on his performances, but as the only other true striker on the squad aside of Harry Kane, it was thought that Jackson might have a leg up in sticking on the game day roster. If this report is true, that is clearly not the case.

Bayern were never going to give him the minutes he needs. Kane is undroppable and they will want to play their own players.

I'd have him back as a back up for Pedro, or to use on the left wing. Delap isn't doing anything for us sadly.

In the Bundesliga 3 goals 441 minutes. It's a goal every 147 minutes and zero assists. His passing stats aren't great either. Two goals in 193 minutes of Champions League pitch time is better but they came against Pafos and Brugge.

I agree with @Malcolm9 he was never going to displace Kane, BUT the opportunities he has been given he hasn't performed anywhere near well enough to make Kompany consider giving him more pitch time. He is a bench-warmer for them at best. I've watched him a few times and I make a point of reading the match reports to see how he is getting on. There is absolutely no signs whatsoever of any improvement.

Bayern arent going to retain him, therefore he is likely to return. I can see him initially back in the squad along with Delap Guiu and Emegha or LR may try him in competition with Neto Garnacho Gittens and Mudryk, prior to attempting to offload several of this crowd via loans.

Has anyone actually seen him play as a LW in a blue shirt, bar that one time under Pochettino. What is Jackson going to do with a low block? He left because he didn’t want to play backup to Delap, just imagine him on the bench sulking if we keep him. I reckon he will be loaned out again, no one is paying the club’s valuation after this season he is having.

This guy deserves an apology. Yes he's limited and foolish with red cards but Donkey Delap is 10x worse. We would be praising Delap if he had Jacksons output.
