Only saw him play there a couple of times but obvious to me, he was much more comfortable coming inside from there than he was as the central "Striker"...

I thought he played on the wing for Villareal but apparently not according to AI...

Also, according to AI:

Key Attributes: Pace, technical ability to drop deep, and clinical finishing.

Guess AI hasn't taken into account notnowjim's reviews on here... 😁

When was this though? ‘cos he only played once in that role in a blue shirt, and if memory serves me right it wasn’t even a full game.

Just sell him along with Gittens, Garnacho and Neto. We need better wingers

Neto is the only one that is sellable, and despite how poor he's been this season I don't feel comfortable selling our most experienced winger whilst keeping the latter two. On top of another 20 year old they'll inevitably replace Neto with.

Twattery aside, I'd have Jackson on the left ahead of our current candidates.

Yeah but hes a complete moron...

"Nicolas Jackson on IG. "Don't your thing bro. If they called you monkey because you black, return it. Call them "white pig 🐖" Problem settled itself."

The problem with having Jackson on the left, with his crap first touch, ball control and lack of spatial awareness, limiting to only half of a pitch of football to play, with the touchline by the side of him, in should be the last thing we do with him

Nice bit of selective clip hunting, brother.

I’d argue that Jackson on the left would suffer much the same as Garnacho. His best attribute is his speed which we struggle to utilise much the same as Garnacho.

Very good point and one many on here don't seem to appreciate - Garnacho strength comes from running on to the pass - how many times do you see us play him in like that ?

We don't get that type of space unless we're 2-0 up and the opponent is chasing the game. 80%-90% of the teams we play sit back or utilize low block-high press

Ah the Willian paradox all over again

The space is always there if the ball is played early. Our slow build up play is the issue.

Following the revelation that we have made the biggest financial loss in British soccer history, and the second highest in European soccer history, the bad news keeps on coming;

Forward Nicolas Jackson is set to return to Chelsea. The 24-year-old Senegal international moved to Bayern Munich on loan last summer, but the Bundesliga champions are not keen on a permanent switch. (CFBayernInsider)
