Absolutely brilliant performance and win.

Very critical recently, but I thought loads of players stepped up today.

Badiashille, Achaempong, both great before injury. Glad James played right back too.

Garnacho did some good things.

All the subs were very good, Hato, Lavia, Gittens, Guiu and then of course Estavao who produced quality to one on a plate for Enzo, and then grabbed the winner.

Ciacedo was absolutely world class, and if we are being fair Enzo had a fantastic game too.

Big win.

Hopefully get some players back in after the break.

I had to watch the game delayed and recorded so steered clear of comments about the game.

This post 0retty much sums up my thoughts as well. Caicedo magnificent throughout.

But for someone who has no time for Badiashile, I am glad to eat humble pie today. I thought he was excellent throughout. In some ways this winds me up as well though. He can play forward passes, breaking lines. He can be aggressive in the press, brave in winning headers, opening play up. It's the best performance I have ever seen from him. Why can't he play like this regularly instead of standing stock still, waiting for an approach from the opposition before passing sideways to the nearest player. Excellent performance from Badiashile and if he could play like that regularly I would have no problem with him.

I also think that whilst he has shown great promise up to this point, Josh Acheampong came of age yesterday. Another great performance.

First time in a long time I actually enjoyed watching us (albeit only the final 30 minutes) but I feel like that was in spite of Maresca, don’t for a second imagine that’s how he envisions his side playing.

Lots of positives to take from the game regardless of the result anyway.

Acheampong should be starting, no doubt about that. Probably our second best CB after Levi and will only get better.

Badiashille has put in back to back acceptable performances now, definitely deserves back in the rotation.

Caicedo continues to look a bargain at only 100M, easily worth triple.

Garnacho looked really dangerous, a striker on the pitch and he’s easily got 2 assists yesterday.

The only concern is that JP after his red hot start is sliding into the Nkunku wasteland, he’s not a Striker and never will be and not only looks ineffective there but actually pretty crap.

wow i said this during the game and when he was subbed, BUT someone on here said i was speaking rubbish ( obviously didnt want him here and wont give him a chance), a striker puts at least one of those in the goal, which brings me to your other point, as you say Pedro is NOT a striker nor is George, hopefully mastermind Maresca has now realised this and give Guiu the next 2 starts (Forest and Ajax)

Hilariously our glorious manager took him off when he brought on a striker, one who's excellent in the air, perfect to get on the end of Garnacho's crosses....genius.

What did I say that was wrong?

When Maresca run down the touchline to celebrate the goal, who did he cuddle? NOT Estevao but Gusto his secret lover

Doesn't this performance, and result, with all our injuriy issues, make the performances and results in the last 3 league matches all the more infuriating?!

We better turn up for Arsenal away and home. Has been too long we have just been a punching bag for them.

I can understand the fans not liking him, Elliot feeling very agrieved. But still don’t get why he has so little empathy for our club along with Burley and Poyet

From personal experiences Gus always says he’s a Blue and loves the club. Agree about the others and don’t know why they’re so bitter.

Whenever Bada is talked about the club say he’s very highly rated and not for sale. There is definitely a player in there but he’s made some horrendous mistakes regularly after impressing initially after joining.

Hopefully this is the start of a Cucu level redemption

Best game since the CWC final...

For me Estavao starts - we got 3 players with da X factor Moises Cole and Estavao

JT is right - add in Cucu - had Salah in his pocket and ran down the other end when it mattered to make the assist for Estavao to "slot" home the winner😁

He can get f**ked after the way he treat John Harley and acted when he went to Spuds.

Hilarious to see their coach whining about the 100% penalty Isaak should have had, you know, the one where he dragged James back and tripped him....
