Way off. Lavia is injured, Fernandez can’t play holding with a team as intense as Arsenal, Santos could be an option but James is able to cover that right wing as well and get forward. It’s a bad shout at all, it works.

Santos could be an option? He should be playing, Gusto shouldn't. Just put players where they belong.

It’s the right team I just don’t understand Pedro he’s shown he doesn’t work as a 9, I would have had Delap for the physicality

Ok so who plays right back James? Normally I agree. Unfortunately bombing up and down the wing isn’t an option for him he will get injured again, this is the longest run he has had he’s being managed very carefully and he’s too good not to be in the team.

Yes, James, the best RB in the league. Its much more attritional playing in the middle of the pitch and being expected to cover RB.

Ok as I said I normally agree but you didn’t address my point, he is being managed because of his repeated injuries RB is too intense for his body, it’s been shown time and time again, if he’s injured then gusto is full time RB. So lesser of the evils have him there covering and a leader on the pitch or have him in the treatment room after 5-10 games at RB. So what’s your thoughts that we just play him and see how long he lasts?

Plus delap brings height and strength to defend set pieces also.

Gusto shouldn’t be anywhere near the first XI, can’t defend worth sh*te and only on the odd occasions does he offer anything going forward. With him being in the team forces one of the best RWB in the world to play out of position…totally nuts IMO. Why can’t Santos play in the middle and move James to the position he should be. Pedro has offered very little this season but I guess neither have the other CF’s, but I would have preferred Delap causing disruption than Pedro.

I know what you’re saying actually a CM might even run more than a rb in many cases however the type of RB he is bombs forward, plus it’s not just the distance covered in a pivot you're rarely isolated there’s no where to hide as a fullback the runs are more explosive and start stop where’s as the miles covered at CM are more fluid covering ground constantly and not as start stop you’re also dealing with their quickest players normally in wingers who are trying to turn you inside out, it’s just a more hazardous position for him, next to Caicedo he’s got a partner who is breaking up play, enforcing. James is more cleaning up and getting the ball moving forward again. He used to play CM and I get why you think it’s a waste of a top RB and I agree but again so is him being in the stands watching.

At least he's picked Estevao to start ... but Arsenal will be ecstatic to see Gusto at RB, James in CM, Enzo at #10 and Joao Pedro up top for sure.

He’s sh*t the bed with that lineup when he’s been gifted the greatest opportunity with Arsenals heart and soul missing.

James should be at RB, Santos should be at CM, Garnacho should be at LW & Delap should be at CF.
