Well, we're missing our starting goalkeeper, left-back, both centre-backs, and our best centre mid. Our starting right-back is playing in midfield and our one good attacking player isn't match fit.

We're being led on the pitch by somebody with a UEFA B Licence who is only at the club because he's a mate of the chief scout.

In conclusion, with expectations this low, it is practically impossible to not surpass them. We can be nothing but positive from here on out.

To be fair to the stand in coach bloke, I’d just pick pretty much the last team or whatever. You’ve got two training sessions with players who don’t even know your name before playing one the the two best sides in the country away. You’re not getting the job whatever happens, so just go with the easiest path.

And besides, there is no lineup that cunningly wins this, we probably get leathered and if we do win it even drawer, it’s isolated/fluke result.
