March 5Mar 5 Completely destroyed Villa's high line and actually I think this set of players we have are perfectly made to play against teams that press high and leave acres of space in behind defences. If the defence has some good days, I think we can be a dark horse in the UCL this season with the way the other teams play. PSG, Liverpool and Bayern are always on the front foot and we just need the defence to hold on tight in this type of matches as I am absolutely sure our midfielders and attackers will find ways to break through their back lines. We really look competent when we do not have to play against low blocks.
March 5Mar 5 Good result and good game. Well done to Eghbali, the SDs and LR for last night's game plan 😅

Garnacho doesn't have the skills to penetrate a low block, nor Gittens, and therein lies the problem. Only Estevao does and he's still learning on the job. Thank the SDs for the frustration.
March 5Mar 5 Villa match reminds me of the PSG match high line tones of space and we ripped them apart.Any team in the world who try to play football against us is at risk of getting spanked. The problem we have is very few teams want to play football against us as they know what we can do.

March 7Mar 7 LR didnt have a clue what to do before or during that game, he looked gormless at the end, whereas Parkinson tried everything and looked exhausted. Its insane that this moron should be allowed to look after a premier league team.
March 7Mar 7 Made quite a few mistakes tonight Too many changes Left half of our best players out of the squadStarted Tosin and Badiashile together

I'm not joking when I say Minutes FC, I'm dead serious about it. These players have to play so BlueCo can get the maximum value out of them.

March 7Mar 7 The sooner he is gone the better, and the same for the next yes man, we need to work through Blue Cos stock of yes men asap.

I’m not against LR, but he surely deserves the rap for allowing them powers above to pick up a team with seven defensive players and match the 343 formation of Wrexham. It is just the bad attitude to go to an FA Cup game.

Every top team rotates in cups, especially early rounds. We still had about 5 to 6 players starting that have played a lot of games in the first team. This is all getting a bit silly.

Liam Rosenior deserves criticism, but he deserves criticism for taking on a job like this in the first place, but I can't criticise him for the players he picks because I don't believe he has the final say. The role of any head coach at Chelsea now is not one of a traditional football manager. You'll never see Mourinho, Conte, Ancelotti or Tuchel type of figure at Chelsea again, not under these owners, they would never accept the restrictions in place. It will be coaches looking for that stepping stone in their career. Why do you think Maresca went along with all of it until the end? What was his options when he promoted Leicester? Get sacked around November at Leicester, or go to Chelsea? It's easy. He went to Chelsea and immediately became the yes man. He never upset those in charge, he kept his down, did as he was told, raised his profile with the CWC win. The next season starts and a few months in, the City rumours started, he spoke out in the media saying he was unhappy, and he left within weeks. Reputation intact, profile raised, Maresca comes out smelling of roses.I wasn't a fan of Maresca (and his atrocious football) and I'm not a fan of Rosenior for the same reasons. They don't have the clubs best interest at heart. I wanted Maresca gone long before he left, but I wanted him gone based on the football he had us playing, I never wanted him gone on his terms, but that is exactly what happened. That told me everything I already suspected and now I know that owners will never get the right coach, so my energy is on pointing the finger at them rather than any coach.

Making subs that had nothing to do with tactics? I don't think that's normal personally. I don't think any sub made today was made with the intention of improving us on the pitch outside of Pedro. Everybody else was about giving minutes, even before the game was won.
