2nd worst performance after the Ghana one from England. They get to the Semi Finals though, so I will take anything from here. The distance England are from Argentina, France and Spain is too great, so it would be an amazing achievement to beat them.

Not so sure about Argentina. They definitely know how to dig in and don’t give up, but they’re not great though are they?

Disagree France have proper quslity in depth. Argentina and Spain have similar weaknesses to England. I don't think there is much between those three.

Spain aren't pleasing on the eye, but they control games really well. They can go the whole game creating nothing and just pass it around forever and suddenly split a defence apart. They're been the best in the world at that for nearly 2 decades at this point. France have a ridiculous amount of quality, probably the only team you could argue would compete with the best in club tournaments. Argentina remind me of Real Madrid. They don't always look great, but they just pull these moments out of nowhere to turn it around, and Messi is still ridiculous.

I think England lack these qualities. They don't dominate possession well like Spain. It's not a team full of quality like France and I don't think they have enough moments players in them outside of Bellingham. I also think we are the worst team defensively. There are always gaps in midfield and too many England players panic.

Real Madrid rarely looked great when they won all of those Champions Leagues, and that is who Argentina remind me of.

It's not even just that. He can't run and control the ball at the same time, he's offside too often. I am amazed at times how some players make it to this level, he's one of them.

I don't know whether they can use var for this or not but I absolutely support var for this kind case.

There can be an element of that at times. But at the end of the day here, it was Tuchel who said to the press that he was “not happy with the performance - in every sense” and that "We got lucky”.

Maybe he should have kept that opinion to himself and the dressing room instead of sharing it with the worlds press right after reaching the semi final.

Tuchel has done a good job dragging us into the semi finals notwithstanding the goal contribution from Kane and Bellingham.

Its business time now and it's going to be a tall order versus Argentina with a few of our players not fully fit.

Anyway Haaland getting subbed off and the distinct lack of rowing will do for me.
