Only saw the first half stream..resorted to commentary only second half but on what I've seen Ballack and Essien looked very good ,

Will vote after I've seen the game though.

essien...totally awesome...great man to have in front of big four but made impact going froward...it was his pass that put the drog away in lead up to first goal...unlucky not to score himself

I'm torn on this one. Essien, Ballack, Bosingwa and Anelka, who could have had a hattrick with just a little luck, were all excellent.

It's nice to have this kind of dilemma instead of scratching around trying to pick an above average performance.

Edit: Eventually voted Bosingwa, and not only because nobody else has.

drogba for me- but it's great that at this early stage many of the players who disappointed last season have started with urgency this season.

I opted for Ballack however overall I think it was a very professional and welcome team performance. We started off playing at a good tempo and kept patient when it started to look like being 'one of those days' - then, when we did get a goal and then the second we kept the tempo up rather than taking our foot off the pedal.

Ashley Cole. Had a great game today. His goal was icing on the cake for his performance.

I went with Essien. He showed how effective it is having both him and Ballack "holding". It gives both of them freedom to drive forward.

It was a difficult choice because everyone played really, really well. Some of our passing was exquisite. We zipped it about beautifully and the system is so fluid that it was hard to keep track of who was playing where. it must have been a nightmare for Burnley. Ancelotti must be counting his lucky stars that he has inherited such a fantastic group of players.

No one - the opposition were terrible and we should have scored a hat full. You can only pat yourself on the back when you beat crap like that by 6 or 7 goals

Essien for me today. He was immense. Won tackle after tackle, anticipated and intercepted passes time after time and drove forward at speed at every opportunity. Really seemed to enjoy himself too. Great performance

I voted for Michael Essien, if it wasnt for the excellent Burnley keeper he could of had a couple of goals today, his best game of the season so far.

The first 45 minutes Burnley played very well, it took a little bit of luck to score the first goal, if we hadnt of taken a 1-0 lead in at half time it may have been a lot closer.

Ballack for me though maybe because Deco and Frank were so average today.

If only Frank could have laid on all three goals instead of just the two then he might have risen above average :D

Best game for Essien so far this season. He ran, he passed well, tacked, and intercepted just about every clearance ball Burnley put out. At times I swear there are at least 2 Essiens out on the field.
