Last Movie You Watched

Featured Replies

These spring to mind, not in any particular order: Mystic River, The Departed, The Prestige, Memento, The Usual Suspects,The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Original Swedish version).

Brilliant films, the lot of them.

Mystic River has a great vibe in it. Love the movie. Eastwood is best behind the camera. What about Silence of the Lambs and Red Dragon. Both brilliant.

I just saw Kill List yesterday. Strange movie to be honest.

Recently watched Van Helsing again for the first time in an age.

Load of crap really but Kate Beckinsale in a leather corset was as good a reason as any to justify watching this sh*te film again.

But if they were ever to make a sequel with the hero wearing a wide range of quality shirts, would they call it Van Heusen?*

.

(sorry for that truly crap joke)*.

Watched the latest SPIDER MAN...Good story....Fair build up to him becoming spidey boy to man...Nearly found a tear in my eye on 2 scenes...Looking forward to the next story

By the way, in case you're wondering, I didn;t mean "Snap, I'm a w**ker too!" I meant "Snap, I watched it too and loved it!"

And tonight I'm just back from seeing Ken Loach's new film "The Angel's Share" Brilliant! Forget Dark Knight rubbish!

This is the film to see - mind you, if you're Engliah you'll probably need subtitles. Scott (mad_mac) YOU will love it!

Further to previous - the title - "Angel's Share" refers to the 2% of whisly which evaporates in the cask. A fine film with magnificent use of anglo-saxon language in a weegie accent.

Moi, have you ever seen the original Omen film? that was a good-un.

If you mean the one with Gregory Peck, then yes and yes it was.

So, I watched the film "Real Steel" last night as there was bugger all on and it was actually quite good, much better than I expected anyway.

I was planning to take my wife to a movie today (it's her birthday!). I was thinking about taking her to see "Ted" -- has anyone seen it? Is it worth seeing? It seems to have a great story line, about a child whose bear comes to life and walks and talks and makes out with chicks, but then again it may be really silly.

I've only seen the trailer but it reminds me a lot of a show called 'Wilfred'. So if you're into that sort of thing then you'd probably enjoy it.

It's like old school "Family Guy" (for obvious reasons). It will be pretty funny (mostly through vulgarity), and then ruin whatever goodwill you felt towards the movie by making some extended reference to 1980 television shows. Still, I enjoyed it enough, and the end was actually somewhat touching. It's really more of a rental, but I've seen worse in the theaters.
