Highly-rated Academy graduate Lewis Baker, who was left out of the squad for the Community Shield loss to Arsenal, is also about to be loaned out.

The Standard

So you would imagine we have plans to buy some players unless we are dismantling the squad and moving to Benidorm

Other news is that our Marina has been away from her desk for the last few days on a negotiation trip...so maybe there'll be some good news shortly...

Let's hope so, if she hasn't been comparing cock sizes with her peers again in trying to show how hard a negotiator she is we might even get a player

Mate, I'd lay low if I were you, after saying you would be happy with Moreno from Liverpool. You must have been drunk when you said that.

When I said Moses will be an important player for us last season people said I was drunk so am still drunk since then.
Surprised we're still prioritising defence. I understand Sandro because he's WC but we need a top quality attackingwise. Without Hazard we lack so much creativity, Pedro is great at finishing moves off but I wouldn't put him in the insanely creative bracket and Willian is well Willian. He slows the game down too much for me, especially for a player with his amount of pace.

still short in the centre of the park as well.

Hey, you aren't allowed to talk bad about Marina ya know? We forummer peasants aren't cerebral enough to understand the Kabbalah like complexity that a multi million pound Football transfer entails.  Some has already told us.

I was being kind when I said you were drunk. You saying we should buy Moreno, along with your Barton comment are the 2 most idiotic comments I have heard. Then saying that most of your comments are devoid of any common sense. Keep them coming mate, you're great entertainment.

I'd take Mahrez as a squad player but we've never been linked with him, so I don't think we've ever looked at him.

Hopefully all the pessisism will stop once the transfer window closes. I'm sure we will get a few players in, we may be one player short or something like that but still much better than the situation we are in.

We have to be patient, the signings will happen.

According to the Evening Standard this is Conte's list... lol not my parentheses

  • Alexis Sánchez (not for sale)
  • Alex Sandro (not for sale)
  • Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (not for sale)
  • Ross Barkley (Everton’d, plus Spurs well ahead)
  • Djibril Sidibé (Monaco don’t want to sell more players)
  • Virgil van Dijk (least immediate need, prefers Liverpool)
  • Adama Traoré (ugh)
  • Cedric Soares (Southampton’d)
  • Ryan Bertrand (Southampton’d, plus why would he come back?)
  • Mousa Dembélé (not leaving this summer)
  • Fernando Llorente (mayyyyybe)
  • Marco Verratti (LOL)
  • Faouzi Ghoulam (that’d be a surprise!)
  • Danny Drinkwater (there he is!)
  • Renato Sanches (not for sale or loan)

At 55 years of age, my comments regarding you were accurate, and are not childish. Now why don't you f**k off with your pathetic comments. They are ridiculous, and in case you think I am alone in my thinking, look again. You f**cking 24 carat c**t.

There is a "button" in your profile which says "IGNORE", please add me to it. Many will attest to having you on ignore, however for me having you on "ignore" does not work as I still have to endure your "one flew over the cuckoo's nest" type of comments.

Yea I don't get the staunch defence of marina she seems to f**k up key negotiations that other clubs with out funds would get done

Out of all the players we have been linked to, im surprised and disappointed we haven't been linked to fabinho. He would be perfect at right wing back, and is also a good option in centre midfield as we saw last season with bakayoko. He would be the Sandro equivalent on the right side in terms of quality targets. Maybe Monaco are done selling, but they are a club that will sell at the right price.

Who told you that?

I am confused now ,what board is trying to do here , is chelsea out of money? some of my observations which depressed me, if someone can make me understand

why no bid for sanchez , atleast they should have made one bid , throw on table and see what happens , why no reaction from anyone , why letting city have him.

why we just keep running for Alex sandro , there are other options to get some players

Our striker quest has turned out to be a failure , Morata is more of technical and less of physical , when we were not able to get a replacement of Costa why we kicked him out just like that , should have tried to made truce

Moses is not able to handle things properly and we have no replacement and now there are rumors of Hazard interested in spain

All of this made me feel like we are not interested in competing at all

Kick Off Saturday and we only have half a squad.....a bit of a disappointment really.  Let's hope behind the scenes there is some positive negotiations going on and the boss begins to smile again .............or it just might be the 'summer of discontent'

I'm not trying to defend Marina or Emenalo, but it's quite possible that they simply have to work within a certain budget and the penny pinching style is not a matter of choice for them. It's easy to make them the bad guys, but ultimately it's up to the owner to give the green light on the financial decisions when it comes to big money transfers. If we start pointing fingers, I'm sure Abramovich is the man to get the largest portion of the blame for our struggles in the transfer market.

Rob Beasley (who is Mourinho's mate but a Chelsea fan) on Twitter is mentioning the conflict between the board and Conte is around experience v youth in signing. Conte wants experience, while the board is still following their youth based strategy.

Goes without saying they don't control the budget, this is the issue, we go in for sandro, 65 will buy him, we piss about 52, 53, 54, if 54 is there 65 is there, she is trying to over negotiate.

Choice bits

“At my age, and having missed six months with injury, I have been thinking about this quite a lot.

“I am reaching my peak and have probably only got one big contract left in me. Time is running out and I do want to win trophies. I don’t want to play football for 15 years and not have one trophy or one medal.

“Sorry, that’s not what I am about. I wouldn’t be happy with that. I want to win something.”

“Being injured has harmed me on and off the field in a lot of ways. When you’re injured you get a lot of time to think and I’ve had a lot of ‘what if?’ moments. It’s been hard to deal with.

“One thing is for sure — I know my worth and I will make sure I get what I am worth. I am not playing as well as I have done not to get paid what I think I am worth. In any walk of life, if you think you are worth a certain amount, why settle for less? I am not that person.

“If I get to levels I reached last season — and this goes out to everybody — I will make sure I get what I am worth. I don’t know how much longer I might have at this level. I’m not going to be stupid enough not to try and get the most out of it — medals, trophies and salary.

“I’m not saying I want out, but if something came to me that was concrete, I’d have no qualms about voicing my opinions to anyone at the club.”

-Danny Rose; source: The Sun

Now when in the windows are left mostly average player, we sell so much, everyone will know, we are going to buy, and everyone will want bigger money, because they know we are in a bit of hurry.

So how is that good buisness to do your job so late? When most of the quality players are already gone and the teams will not have proper time to get a replacement? For them to sell you have to send very good offer to get the player, which mean overpaying.

You may have good chance of landing someone who`s contract is expiring and the team doesn`t want to lose him on free.

But otherwise there isn`t any procs of doing your job so late. Especially when you need a lot of new signing.

It`s a idiotic move. No one would ever consider Danny Drinkwater in the begining of this windows, now everyone look at him like a good signing, because there is no one else and no time left.

When we sold so many players and send to loan so much, you should change the player you lose with new ones. We haven`t done that. Even if we bring 6 more, we are still be a lot less then last year.

We don`t even have proper bench, so you can make a squad with 11 reserve for a cup games, so you give your starters a rest.

I see a lot of people say, if we bring 2 or 3 new, it will be a good window ? How ? When Conte is pissed already. He won`t be 100%. He will probably leave by next summer.

And we need a lot of players, even before the goes of Kenedy and Lewis and before 1 months, we are saying we need 4-5-6 more. And now we sell more, but need less, how is that ???

Also what time the new players will have to adapt in the team, with the country, with their new team mates, with the manager, with the style, with the tactics and formation ? Will they even be fitness ready ?? Or should be like Morata, not ready to play right away ....

How is good for the manager to not know on what player he can use untill the very end ??? And he to be so worried ? And to sell him players from the team, he clearly wanted to stay ?

I see another big mess and disappointing in this window as well.

And it`s not important how much you spend, when you sold so many players, and have 200m. only of sold players from the winter till now, and 150m. from the PL title.

Both United and City net spend a lot more then us. How we are competitive ?

It will take time, that they are so far ahead of us, that will be very hard to catch them. This Arsenal way is not a good one.

And it`s idiotic as hell to not spend big, when you have such competition and to always demands title result and if not happen, the manager to be sacked.

I don`t see who will come next. After Conte it won`t be good, and i`m pretty sure he won`t stay here after this fiasco.
