August 3, 20178 yr If Bale goes anywhere, I can't see past Man Utd. They've been linked with him for years.
August 3, 20178 yr Doubt we'd pay Bales wages, as a club we seem to have become much more concious with our expenditure.
August 3, 20178 yr No way we get Bale and not send them Hazard as part of the deal. No way. Also our medical team is a staff of people, not some robots. Not everyone can be keep injury free. It`s fun to read someone say something like this, our medical team is so good, give us a broken player and they will fix it and he will be injury free life time ... Yes we have great medical team, but even they can`t produce miracles. Sometimes it`s not about the medical team. It`s about the player and hes body.
August 3, 20178 yr Personally I'd love to see Bale at the bridge, though less sure that would be a good thing for the club. Bale and Hazard behind Morata or Bats, a sight to behold.

August 3, 20178 yr Would have been funny if he'd taken the money from PSG, then just kept it and stayed at Barca.
August 3, 20178 yr Just now, Zeta said: Would have been funny if he'd taken the money from PSG, then just kept it and stayed at Barca. That's why it's done through lawyers, they take receipt and have power of attorney to act for both PSG and neymar, the rule doesn't state it has to be his money or be from his bank account, just that he has to make the payment, a lawyer acting on his behalf is the same as him doing it, easy fix la liga just trying to have a whinge about one of the stars of their sh*t league leaving.

August 3, 20178 yr I'm in the mood for a transfer I can get excited about now that the Neymar deal has gone through.
August 3, 20178 yr Bale seems to be the hot one. Hard to believe he won't go to United if he goes anywhere.

I think the Neymar deal has just about screwed every buying club that are looking for above average first team players; clubs will be holding on and making stupid comparisons between the player that is subject to a transfer and Neymar when it comes to valuation.....Sandro probably just went up another 20-30 million,

Things like this are like anything take property booms for an easy example eventually people's wages don't balance out with the rate of the increase in property value and they can't buy, stop buying and there is a crash. There will be several teams left looking like w**kers who will spend a 100 million on players not worth 40 and a year or two later because teams have been refusing to buy at stupid prices the value will go back to normal, and their 100 million flops will get sold for 30, or not to save face. All it takes is for big clubs to stop paying what's being asked if, Utd, City, PSG and Real stopped paying idiotic fees for 2 seasons the market would go back to normal. In fact Real started this selling off all their land to the city of Madrid and spending over 200 mil in a window when they brought in Zidan and co. They weren't anything near the level they are now before that. They bought stars became popular in Asia building a brand round their galacticos or whatever they are called and went from strength to strength. They started that model and other teams followed, we are guilty too we are the innovators of that in the PL it's actually thanks to mourinho being pragmatic and not a flashy manager that steered us away from that model thankfully, Roman tried and failed with players like Torres and shev and it just never became our identity. It is those clubs f**king it up not the selling clubs, they are just cashing in on success hungry teams, this move by PSG has fuxked all the city type clubs for the future because they will put a limit on a players price or on what's spent in one window. I only hope all of Real and Barca stars are bought before that happens so those clubs can be knocked down to the place they belong coming from a sh*t league like that instead of the glory player w**k fest they are today.
August 4, 20178 yr Don Antonio - Yes of course you are right when it comes to the market place especially in real estate, having just experienced that ourselves here in TO....my house more or less doubled in value in a few weeks and although I could have easily sold it for stupid money, I then would have been on the wrong side of the fence as the buyer having to pay ridiculous prices for properties that when the market corrects itself the property is only worth half of what it was sold for. Interestingly both Vancouver and TO slapped a 15% overseas buyers tax on foreign buyers and it steadied the market in Vancouver and we have seen property prices correct themselves here, but the market is now flooded with properties of those owners too late to the party and hoping to make hundreds of thousands on their property.....I wonder if the same would work in the transfer market? From an PL perspective slap a 15% +tax on buying foreign players, instead of penalizing clubs of having to pay a premium for HG players; this might make clubs look at home grown talent first before paying an 'import tax' of foreign players. Other foreign leagues could do the same, but there will always be work arounds, just like the FFP rules being broken on a daily basis and at the end of the day the clubs with deep pockets will still over pay for above average and premium players way beyond their true value. But at the end of the day, as we all know, football is now all about business and making money, only a few owners really care about the history of the club and fans; so do we really care that much if the 'entertainers' get bought and sold for insane prices? or wages thatare beyond belief? of course where it hurts the fan is ticket pricing and merchandizing, but the owners don't give a toss as long as some fan in a foreign far off place keeps paying up and the TV companies keep pouring the money in.....when it reaches breaking point and it all starts to unravel will be interesting to watch.
August 4, 20178 yr Imagine the sh*tstorm of ffp investigations that's about to take place. I'd be more worried about Barca coming for Hazard personally

August 4, 20178 yr Madrid are desperate to sign Mbappe, we should use this opportunity to get Bale for them. IMO, he is a big upgrade even on Sandro, plus he can play any wing in our front 3. If we can get him, then we have a team that can win the Champions league.

August 4, 20178 yr They can have him for £200 million :)Would that 200m dominate our left flank and give us thrills, victories and goals? No.
