No way would I be happy with Bent. There are better strikers aboard for half the price he would command, Negredo and Huntelaar for starts. Even Hooper would be better.

Can't see them loaning out Bent. They need some more bodies in their squad. They'll want some money in for him...

He is a good player and i think he would get us a lot of goals but i dont see Chelsea ever signing a player like him. He isnt high profile and he is english.

As stated in the article, could would be eligible to play for us until the next season. Also I imagine that Zenit would want at least £40m for him. After all, that's how much they paid for him six months ago.

Despite that though, I'd still welcome him here wilth open arms!

God damn it  :face_palm:  I thought we'd seen the last of the "Hulk" thread.

We won't be in for him. He's already played for Porto and Zenit, so he couldn't play for us now, only register. Don't worry about it..

It's funny, the list of coaches we've looked at is probably longer than the list of players. Very few appointments will please the fans and I doubt Spalletti is on that shortlist..

Why would he want the job? Thats the point we have got to. Why would you want to come to Chelsea? The only managers who would want the job are the ones looking for a big pay out once they are sacked within a year.

Fernandinho supposedly going to one of the Mancs. He'd be a perfect fit for Utd, but City's pivot is probably their weakest position, especially without Touré playing.

    dear god, gomis is shyte. im having a hard time believing this

     

     

    he picked it up this season but i still think hes not good enough to be our starting striker

    Yes, on form this season, 10 in 17. But other than that he's been about as prolific as a duck. 14 in 16 in 11/12 and 10 in 35 the year before..27 years old as well..

    I think he will go to Liverpool. I dont think Spurs would offer him a striker spot, AVB would just stick him out wide again.
