In the seasons Ba has been in England he has for the most part outscored Torres, he is also on less wages and he cost almost a 10th of what Torres did.

My reasoning is, it's a lot harder to offload Torres than Ba and if we need to shift one to make space for a new Striker and Lukaku to return then I am happy to wave goodbye to Ba. 

 

If we can offload Torres then great! But I just don't see anyone stumping up the transfer fee and wages for him personally and I think he will still be here next season.

The difference being that no one else seems to want the players they're signing. I didn't hear of a single team that was after Navas and City tapped up Fernandinho months ago. Donetsk knew no other team would say what City did. End of.

I keep seeing it referred to as an "initial" fee, making me think there must be a hefty amount of addons. Still, if they dont pay much more than that, that's not a bad deal for City at all.

 actually i expect a pretty underwhelming season from him

on Navas I don't see him being first choice for City if they also get Isco. If they played 4-2-3-1 with Fernandinho and Toure in the pivot they would be left so open, I can see it played as a narrow 4-3-3 with Navas as rotation.

There was a quote from the Sevilla president ( or board member) saying that they were very surprised at how big Man City's offer was, as they were the only bidders. 

Its a good signing for them,adds width which is what they need because they play so narrow.Saying that i do have this feeling he will be a flop, his first move to a new club,new country and his problems in the past with home sickness i have a feeling he wont do that well.

I think it'll be a good move for him. I'm not sure if Oriol has a future at the club and after such a long time out playing some regular matches will be good for him.

Yeah i think a loan move would be good for him. He needs game time and needs to return to full fitness. Sending him out on loan would do him the world of good and hopefully get him back to his best. He was amazing for us when he first turned up.

He definitely needs games especially after his injury.Nothing worse than a good young player with potential sitting on the bench all the time.

Report in the newspaper that we shall not mention its name are saying Crystal Palace and Liverpool have shown an interest in taking Piazon on loan next season.

Yeah as open as I am to Ba leaving a loan shouldn't be considered.

 

They've tabled £16m or something like that for Carroll so if Ba is an alternative for them then they clearly have money to spend. 

The Daily Fail is claiming that they want Lukaku on loan to partner Caroll up front. If he stays with us the want Ba.

Im not sure about Piazon on loan to Palace, he will get games sure but do we want him in a team that will be struggling for most of the season and may get little possession.Somewhere like Swansea would be better.
