July 4, 201313 yr IMO De Rossi would be defensive and Van Ginkel the more attacking so De Rossi Mikel Romeu one side Van Ginkel Ramires KDB and Lamps the other is the way I see it.
July 4, 201313 yr Mikel might be leaving also so De Rossi would be a massive signing. I think Essien will play a bit this season also. De Rossi, Essien and Romeu as the DM's, Lamps, KDB and Van Ginkel as the more attacking midfielders. Lets not forget that if needed Luiz can move up and play as DM and Oscar can drop back.
July 4, 201313 yr Guardian reporting we're going to go to Norwich with an improved offer for John Ruddy. Their move for Ruddy saw an offer worth an initial £3m, with a further £2m of add-ons, tabled earlier this week only for Norwich – whose players report back for pre-season training on Thursday – to reject the approach and insist the 26-year-old is not for sale. That resolve may yet be tested with Chelsea expected to return with a new offer, potentially with more of the fee to be paid up front. Also reporting that Kakuta is set to go back to Vitesse for the season on loan.
July 4, 201313 yr Can't see De Rossi wanting to leave and his mind changing after one year. I do hope Mourinho can convince him though.
July 4, 201313 yr Kakuta is as good as gone then. Doesnt he only have a season left on his contract with us? If he is going on a season long loan then he will be out of contract.

July 4, 201313 yr Aubameyang has joined Dortmund have a feeling he's going to be a class act. Does this mean Lewandowski is now considering moving away from Germany?
July 4, 201313 yr If they think we didn't treat Rafa fairly, wait and see what happens if Chelsea buy that little sh*t.
July 4, 201313 yr If they think we didn't treat Rafa fairly, wait and see what happens if Chelsea buy that little sh*t. So fans will throw their toys out if we buy Suarez? Personally I think he is a fantastic player and would rather have him than Cavani, & I don't give a toss about his past if he comes here and scores 20+'league goals.
July 5, 201313 yr So fans will throw their toys out if we buy Suarez? Personally I think he is a fantastic player and would rather have him than Cavani, & I don't give a toss about his past if he comes here and scores 20+'league goals. See, that's the sort of thing I would have said about October time, after all, I originally defended Benitez and tried to give him a chance to win us trophies, however, I quickly learned that supporting a team isn't just about winning trophies, after all, what's it all worth if you can't stand the people who are winning them for you? The thought of seeing that bucktoothed piece of sh*t in a Chelsea kit makes my skin crawl. He may be a fantastic player, but a grade A c**t.
July 5, 201313 yr The Suarez article mentions that he's said he wants to leave the EPL, in an article about him moving to the EPL club that probably hates him more than any other.

Personally I think he is a fantastic player and would rather have him than Cavani, & I don't give a toss about his past if he comes here and scores 20+'league goals. You are implying he will stop his c**tishness altogether all of a sudden. You can choose to forget his past, but I can't see how it will work for you when he keeps being a c**t in the present, and most likely the future.
July 5, 201313 yr Honestly don't think we need a striker. Lukaku, Ba and Torres is a better 3 than most clubs. Its our defensive midfield that needs work. We have the heaviest scoring AMs in the world.
July 5, 201313 yr DeRossi + Cavani for Torres and this window would be perfect. There is just the small matter of making it all happen. DeRossi is apparently a mama's boy and too comfortable home and already 29 so how could we lure him from mama's cooking and Torres-Cavani would just need someone to be insane like we were just 2,5 seasons ago. No biggie.

You can choose to forget his past, but I can't see how it will work for you when he keeps being a c**t in the present, and most likely the future. And misses between 10 and 15 games a season for being a c**t, not really a good investment that now is it.
July 5, 201313 yr Can anyone really see Liverpool selling him to us unless its for over 50 mill again? If we are willing to pay that for a player i would rather have Cavani
