The fact you're saying that people know nothing because they would rather have Rudiger over Koulibaly is childish. People are entitled to have an opinion over which player they'd prefer at the club. I think the fact you've tried to say Asamoah Gyan is world class tells us all what we need to know about you. 

Gyan is sh*t. If remy wasn't good enough to get regular minutes, why would gyan be any different, he is a much worse player.

If we are looking for a striker to come in to back up Costa, he has to be better than remy or we may as well just stick with what we have.

If you had better stats than Remy does you'd be pushing for a starting place and you probably wouldn't be as content to be a back up.

Below table is obviously from wikipedia, so I'm not enlightening anyone here,  but he hasn't been far off a goal every 2 games (which includes playing in the premier league) for the last 8 years. The anomaly being with us, but I'd hedge a bet a lot of those appearances were subs coming very late on.

Asamoah Gyan went for a big money deal just before he hit the prime of his career. So yeah. He went for the cash. Doesn't make him an average player. Greedy, but not average.

As for Kwadwo Asamoah: Its not rumour. Chelsea launched a bid for 20 mln EUR as widely reported and confirmed in Italian press.

That's exactly my point. Remy is a quality back up although fitness has been an issue last season. There is no point bringing in a player that is going to put even less pressure on Costa than what remy has.

If we do sign another striker, it will be either to push Costa for a starting spot, or play with Costa.

Pele has been spouting pish for years - doesn't make it accurate. He once claimed an African team would win the World Cup before the millennium despite being utter horsesh*t. That failed. The best contribution an African team has made to the international stage was Roger Milla's dance.

Messi is a moron. Gyan is awful. Championship player at best.

African players need to move away from Africa at a younger age to adapt quicker. Poor training and coaching leads to poor mentality. Morons like Yaya Toure are always bleating about how African players are often ignored on world player of the year stages etc. Stop crying about discrimination and birthday cakes and focus on football and he might get somewhere. Well quite frankly, there haven't been any that are good enough to compete. Drogba was fantastic but not Ronaldo or Messi levels.

Seriously I hope all this rumours about Gyan and Kwadwo Asamoah coming here end soon because if Conte bring them here Emenalo will eventually take the blame as both players can't improve our team.

If there is one African player that I will like us to be linked with right now, it has to be Aubameyang. Unfortunately it can't happen as we are not in the champions league and I don't think Conte likes playing two strikers.

He's been awful at Liverpool, I'll admit they haven't really played to his strengths but I think that's just shown their limitations.

1. I never called Gyan world class. You guys did. If you want to ridicule me, fine, but at least don't misrepresent me by making stuff up.

2. I was responding to an argument that Gyan was poor at the World Cup and cost them the semis. Yes, he missed the key penalty (as have many greats), but he also pushed them to the quarter finals.

 

I can list various videos of Gyan scoring goals, but whats the point?

Just pay them the 40 million and get it done. He is top class, and thats the price they go for these days. Zouma and Koulibaly could be quite the partnership, two man-beasts.

The guy moved to joke leagues in his prime because he only cares about the £....if he was European he'd also be classed the same.

You did describe him as one of the best strikers around though...

We have to hope they have different options this time though, last summer we put all our eggs in the same basket and ended up paying the price for it.
