Good thing kante has clearly stated in an interview earlier that he isn't interested in leaving England yet. Hopefully that can make him resist the glamour of Paris.

It's an issue we have never had to deal with since Roman came in but sadly it's going to impact transfers.

I'd be happy with Kante in the middle. Would mean less importance on Matic and would allow Cesc to focus on the creativity.

Sorry to break it to you but Napoli have rejected our bids for Koulibaly and he won't be moving anywhere unless someone pays through the roof for him (which we won't do).

 

Everton value Lukaku at 65m and there is absolutely no chance we would pay that much. I would be surprised if we were prepared to pay half of that value. Plus Lukaku and Costa don't compliment each other so they would not make a good strike partnership.

 

Morata is overrated, doesn't score enough. Has scored a couple of goals in some big games but hasn't done much outside of that. In addition to that PSG look to be the front-runners for his signature.

 

Asamoah is an injury prone Juventus outcast. Very underwhelming if we sign him.

 

We can rule out Higuain (too expensive), Nainggolan (Roma won't sell, seems to be relatively happy in Italy), Kante (has no reason to come to us over other clubs who want to sign him - PSG, Arsenal, etc.), Pjanic (heading to United or Juventus) and anyone decent because we have not CL and don't want to spend big.

 

In my opinion we will end up with Benteke (20m) and Rudiger (20m) and a few 18 year old 'wonder kids' that we will send to Norway and Belgium.

So if the rumours are true about Lukaku, Morata, Nainggolan and Kante, and we get them all, what does that mean for certain players at the club? Matic would be on the bench for sure and i don't think he would be happy with that, i think he would want to leave. Mikel would surely leave, but i thought he would be gone when we signed Matic and Fabregas, so who knows with Mikel. Remy is leaving either way, i don't think anyone expects him to be a Chelsea player next season, and now that just leaves Costa. I don't want Costa leaving under any circumstances personally. If Conte plays 2 up front, then there is no reason why we couldn't have Costa, Lukaku and Morata.

Apparantly Mourinho really wants Matic to Manchester. They are in contact with us about making a transfer work according to Di Marzio. We shouldn't sell for any sum of money, unless they shell out an absolute fortune.

Well, Matic looked dreadful under Mourinho last season and has shown no signs of improvement since, i'm not sure it would be a bad idea selling him to them. Matic has too many weaknesses, they were all exposed last season.

 

But at the same time, i don't like selling to our rivals. They wouldn't do the same for us so i don't see why we should keep on helping them.

Thats what I was thinking, if he's planning on playing 2 forwards I don't think anyone could complain about having those 3 plus Traore as our options
