Just pay them the 40 million and get it done. He is top class, and thats the price they go for these days. Zouma and Koulibaly could be quite the partnership, two man-beasts.

 

rumours were roman is annoyed he's having to pay out lots of money for players and then we end up in positions like last season. i can't blame him for being reluctant to splash out tbh. pay out 30-40 million on so called "top quality" players and they let the club down.

Why are we looking for these players? Gyan was good, but a player that prefers money more than football love, isn't a real player for me. 

 

We have Tammy Abraham, the lad has scored 40 goals in one season, why can't we try him? He's working hard, trying to get himself into the squad, loving the club and especially when the club gives him a chance to play in the first team, then his motivation will be much higher. Let's see what he can do, why spend money on players that we don't really need.

I'm 99% sure we already have a clause like that in the loan contract.  Although I do remember Atletico giving us the big old get f*cked when we tried to tell them Courtois was not allowed to play against us in the CL.  

I don't see Benteke as an upgrade on any of our current strikers

I don't believe we're even thinking of most of these players, just paper talk.  Benteke and Gyan have done nothing to deserve a chance at Chelsea.  Surely the club has learned from signing has beens like Falcao & Pato?  What happened to us buying young potentials like Hazard, Oscar, De Bruyne, Mata and the like?  

 

I have a feeling Roman is going to properly back Conte and has realised if you what to stay at the top you can't rely on cheap transfers and loans to fill out the squad.  I still think we have the pull and money to go out and get a Pogba or Griezmann.  Both may be a stretch but I would love us to get them both, add Koulibaly and that would be a dream.  3 big signings rather than 6 average players is what I want the other places should be given to youth players.

No. World Class is world class. 

In 'out there' I meant available to buy. And I deem him top class, which doesn't make him world class.

a) Diego Costa is not world class. By no means. And I stated that Gyan isn't as good.

Always good when defender has had his footballing education in Europe. If not they tend to be.. well just not very good.

Because for the 4-5 games a year he is brilliant you get approx 30 games of absolute dross

Conte wants Candreva now as well. I saw €20m mentioned for him. He can play down the ride side and just scored 12 for Lazio last season. Very similar to Willian though more direct type of player

Candreva is excellent.

Naingollan, Candreva, Bonnuci, Lichtsteiner.

I know it's all Serie A players but they're excellent.

Great player but 29 now, is he really much better than Willian? I don't think so.
