March 30, 201610 yr That's a lovely picture. Presumably this is 1930's or thereabouts but the block of flats behind the Shed to the left looks just like the one there now. What a fantastic picture of the old Bridge Where is this from please? For me to arrange a large print of it if possible Thanks
March 30, 201610 yr Not trying to sound depressing. But does anyone remember an away game, maybe Cambridge or Brighton when a lad lent out of the train window and hit a wall or concrete post.I heard he survived.
March 30, 201610 yr Fantastic view a packed Bridge way back when? Where is this from please? Or who's the Artist? As I would like to see if I can buy a print copy
March 30, 201610 yr BTW I meant to tell you lot that at the Shrewsbury match I went to at the weekend, there was a rather random singing of Knees Up Mother Brown. Quite took me back. Except there was no dancing to accompany it - it's not the same with seats!
March 30, 201610 yr Not trying to sound depressing. But does anyone remember an away game, maybe Cambridge or Brighton when a lad lent out of the train window and hit a wall or concrete post.I heard he survived. I'm fairly certain this was mentioned (on here?) before but don't know how to find it.

March 30, 201610 yr What a fantastic picture of the old Bridge Where is this from please? For me to arrange a large print of it if possible Thanks Eddie mac, where have u been !! You sent me a couple of videos ages ago. Still can't find them anywhere else. I know u had people abusing your postings.
March 30, 201610 yr I'm fairly certain this was mentioned (on here?) before but don't know how to find it. I was in the same carriage on the way back from Brighton. Sad end to a great day. Without going into it on here. He survived but I believe the decision had to be made to come off life support as he did not respond. I think his name was Gary.
March 30, 201610 yr Ah that's what I think of as my Chelsea! Running up those stairs to get to the Shed. How I wish you could revisit you past to experience things as they were just for a day!
April 1, 201610 yr QPR haha being run back in to their Loft by Chelsea 1987 I think that's Chelsea climbing into the Loft and QPR have already done a runner down the exits. I don't remember them coming onto the pitch, just Chelsea coming across it from the School End and QPR getting on their toes.
April 1, 201610 yr Pre match Full English(with chips of course) & a mug of tea Happy Days I use to pop in if I was going down during the week to sort out any tickets for the odd away games that were all tickets
April 1, 201610 yr Pre match Full English(with chips of course) & a mug of tea Happy days! Went in there a couple of times in my teens early 80s. The unofficial club shop was a couple of doors down. Always thought they had better gear in there, I think they sold the away kit in my first season 77/78 yet the portacabin on the forecourt at the bridge didn't.

April 1, 201610 yr The fry used to be swimming in grease lol good times Maybe on match days, but I used to eat in there every morning for about 8 months in 78/9, while working on the roof at Earls Court, never had a bad or greasy breakfast in there, one of my top 5 fry up cafes.
