It reminds me of a mate of mine (RIP) he was always coming out with trivia questions in the pub pre internet. He said '' Which fighter got put on his arse every fight he had but got up to win every single one of them ?''. Most of the pub were guessing including the know it alls who were quoting geezers pre second world war. After about an hour everyone had given up so we said ok you've got us stumped who was it ? my mate with a massive grin on his face took a deep drag of his ciggie took a massive swig of beer and said Popeye ?

Its quite a rough town- all the local Herbert’s turned out for that one.

Also watched the Leeds V Bayern European Cup Final,on TV, went to my first live matches the following season first a game at Selhurst as my dad supported Palace then at Christmas my first glimpse of Chelsea at Orient (1-3) had turned 7 in the August.

June 14, 20197 yr The Chelsea directors of the time, should have given Eddie Mac the car he wanted in the summer of 1977. It could well have saved us so much hassle, managerial wise...

June 14, 20197 yr We’re playing Nottingham forest ,that is a very young Duncan McKenzie on the far right hand side
June 14, 20197 yr 41 minutes ago, Boyne said: Not sure who we're playing. Went to save the picture below and it said Forrest home 1971. Is that Martin O'Neil? 45 minutes ago, Boyne said: I thought that looked like a young Duncan McKenzie and checked his playing history on Wikipedia. That said he was on loan at Mansfield but the Forest team photo of 71 includes him.
