My old Chelsea rosettes always used to turn a funny shade of purple after a couple of months too.

I've got a couple of old silk scarves of the same hue, don't bother me though, I'm colourblind.

I remember that one. We won 4-0,  their keeper (David Harvey?) went off injured.  Am sure we watched the game pitch-side throughout corner of Shed/ West Stand. Amount of Leeds fans in attendance, you could count on both hands, if memory serves correct?.

Pretty certain the 'Special' from Euston to Manchester Piccadily around this time was Two Pounds fifty pence. Also still got the ticket stub (somewhere) from the 1972 League Cup Semi 2nd Leg, away to Spurs, which was 30p !.
