Heard the rumours, Oscar mentioned him the other day in an interview and he is Rambos main competition in the brazil squad

Would love to have him here but it depends on the price, he's happy there and signed an extension last I heard so if we wanted him we would have to pay big bucks to get him which isn't something I would be comfortable with.

 

But yeah, very good player and if we manage to get him for a reasonable price I would be pleased.

11M buyout clause. Bargain. Becoming a regular for brazil in the deep midfield role and would know Ramires well from there. Well rounded Dm from what I hear.  I think Inter already tried to sign him earlier in the year. Another Brazilian  not quite sure he's what we need though, some people want a deep lying playmaker and some want a destroyer in midfield. Only January will tell..

 

Will like the club be watching him closely in our matches in the CWC..

Haven't seen much of him, but from what i've heard hes probably the best player at the CWC not in our squad, will be keen to see him.

 

Then again Neymar was a complete no show last year against Barca.

My first post since spammers game so disappointed at our lack of character in that game.

We desperately need more central midfielders. More than strikers. Would prefer someone with leadership character, fast, strong and a good passer. If this boy ticks the boxes lets go.

Really don't know if this guy is really what we need. He is a good player no doubting that, but I just feel we have the spine of out team to think about. We need a big, strong, leader in the middle of the park that has a good range of passing. Our spine has been Cech, Terry, Lamps and Drogs over the last few years and lets face it, they have either left or getting on a bit now and replacements of their leadership and character are required. No doubting the players we have bought of late are excellent players but players like Hazard and Oscar are not leaders, yet anyway.

 

We have got the talent. Time to get some leadership and strength within the ranks too.

 

I just don't wana end up like the arse.

I agree, we lack any real strength in that midfield and i think we would be better trying to sign someone like De Rossi. I like the youthful look of our team right now but we shouldn't just target young players. We only have to look at Arsenal as evidence that this doesn't work.

 

I say go get an experienced DM and in a few years time hope that Chalobah will be ready to take his place.

I still have your reaction to the rumour that we would sign Vicky Moses fresh in my head...You didnt rate him, he wasnt Chelsea class, yet he has turned out alright!

To be fair i cant argue with that. Moses has really proved me wrong.
