Can't vote from what I saw on the stream I had, it froze every three or four minutes...only saw Torres touch the ball twice in the time it was going and Mata would get it from what I saw.

 

I'll vote after I've seen the highlights.

Ivan...a rock at the back today, as were all of the defensive unit.

You didn't miss a lot as far as Alice is concerned, he should have been hooked after the first half. Offered nothing in attack.  In fairness he didn't get a lot of service but he sure didn't go looking for the ball.  

Luiz was fantastic in the first half but faded in the second. But Mata was good throughout (though he was nowhere near his peak).

Mata for me, ultimately the game-changer as the one player who was able to break down a very stubborn Norwich backline.

 

Other than that Moses was impressive but a bit wasteful and the backline were solid.

I thought we defended 'properly' today, and as someone already said, barring the odd set piece we looked solid throughout.

Mata and Moses were both busy upfront but Oscar and Torres were quiet.

Luiz is definately making that midfield role his own, at the moment it looks like him + another.

It has to go to one of the defenders. We were really poor offensively today. We created very few good chances and the main reason we won the game is that we were more solid defensively.

 

Ivanovic is my pick. Was solid all game. Didn't make any mistakes and was good on the ball. Cole was very good, Luiz was good, Azpi and Cahill were pretty good, Mikel was quite good. 

I voted for Moses. I thought Luiz played OK, but his shooting was a bit wild and ambitious. Also noticed that he didn't make much of an effort to get back when Holt looked through on goal, but was flagged offside. It looked like he was just thinking 'either he scores or he doesn't', rather than getting back to deal with whatever happened after Holt had shot.

Juan Mata gets it for that beauty of a goal.

Surprised only 1 other person voted for Cahill, he kept Norwich quiet all night and was very compose playing out from the back. This game was more about holding on to what we had than an attacking display, which is why I went for him.

Just got back from the game.LuIz was superb in first half,quiet in second half.HIs shooting was way off.Luiz motm for me,mention for Moses and Cesar also.

Went out for boxing day so I only got to see the 1st half, but based on what I saw I'm going with Mata. That goal deserved MOTM all by itself.

Invariably I give it to Mata because invariably he is our best performer.

 

Today our best performer was Luiz, so I've given it to him.

 

That's the way it goes.

Mata - the difference between the sides and the heart of our team.

Surprised so many are mentioning Luiz. I thought he was very bitty all game. Gave the ball anyway countless times and he shooting was awful.

Still remain unconvinced about him in midfield and will remain so until he performs there against a top team. Be interesting to see if he is selected there at Goodison.

Who voted for Torres?! I went for Mata, the difference between winning and not winning.

I'm surprised more people haven't gone for Luiz. He was largely excellent, showed great vision and pressed really well. He's really good at winning back possession. He will invariably give away some fouls but they aren't costly anymore. He can grow into an outstanding midfield talent!
