Who? Sunderland fans credit him with saving them from relegation last season and he has been good for Liverpool this season. I can't think of 5 in the Premier League that are better than him.

Mignolet is a good GK, made a few errors this season but on the whole he's had a good season. 

He's been flapping at high balls with alarming regularity recently. Would take the following over Mignolet:

Hart (despite not being as good as he once was, still better than Mignolet)

Possibly Howard too.

Hes too small to succeed in the premier league (as a CB)

I think it's time to make the change, or at least give Courtois a full crack at it. If the boy has that much confidence in his ability, he should't fear the competition. I believe Cech is still quality, but I don;t think he has the same aura as say 2-3 seasons ago. There were games where he had so little to do, but when he's called upon on, he let that 1 slip through.

I prefer him at centre back, he had decent partnership going with cahill at the ebd of last season, not on jt's level, but with improvement of cahill he could conceivably replace jt for a couple of seasons, before either zouma, kalas, ake, omerue, christiansen etc are ready to step up.

plus it would let azpi play right back and a good left back to come in, and provide attacking impetus, width, well timed overlaps, and quality delivery.

He isn't a modern day fullback, watching Sheamus Coleman against Utd the other day thats what a fullback is all about.

Coleman is very poor defensively though compared to Ivan. Amazing go forward though yeah but isn't a complete player.

Dont know what games you have been watching, comfortably the best right back in the prem for me (and many others) until Azpi goes back to RB.

I should say the same to you. He isn't very good defensively (and even his NT coach says he needs to improve on that side).

 

Did you not see him last week against Crystal Palace for example?

 

We're not going to get him but I honestly doubt Mourinho would have him.

I watched him against Hazard here at SB and Coleman defended really well, i would take someone who is good defensively and fantastic going forward over someone who excellent defensively but offers zero going forward.

I said that because I was just suggesting that Mourinho likely wouldn't want him here because his defensive work isn't up to par compared to Ivan. 

 

So? Bakuna from Aston Villa handled Hazard well, so did the FB from Palace (forget his name). Doesn't prove much because Hazard has had his inconsistencies throughout this season including getting past players.

I take it you missed the bit when Hazard went round Bacuna like he was there in the corner?. Well thats where me and you are different then, Ivan is a CB who does a job at RB but I'd take a natural good attacking fullback like Coleman over him all day long. His defensive ability has improved, last year he was one of Evertons highest tacklers i'm not sure whats it like again this season but i reckon it woudl of gone up again.

Don't think any of these right backs will be any good in goal for us next season.

Cech unlikely to play again this season but I don't think it will have a huge impact on Courtois's career.  It is looking more and more likely that Cech will play one more season whilst Courtois plays another season on loan.

If the rumours are true, Thibaut will sign a two year contract extension in exchange for another season at Atletico. We've got nothing to worry about.

How about Cech for the champions league and the cups and Courtois for the league, Real Madrid are doing it with Lopez and Casillas.
