Cant view at work, whats the video showing lads?

Jose high fiving kids, slapping a few Athletico fellas hands, then putting his head down and completely blanking Courtois as he passes him.

Good ol Jose!

think it was the athletico mascots he was shaking hands with.

It was the athletco kids he was high fiving. Unless athletico have a player who is 4 foot. Wouldn't be reading anything into that.

If you actually watched the video Ricardo, you would see he high fives a few kids as well as an Atletico player. He then hugs another Madrid player (Tiago I think), just beside Coutois, before blanking him.

I don't think cech has the confidence any more. The head injury he sustained has probably added to his reluctance a lot of the time.

What ? Confidence to do what exactly because Cech has had the same level of confidence he has always had since he joined us.

I hate it when people bring up his head injury, it's a myth that it has damaged his game. Being a World class keeper for 8 years after the injury proves it has had little impact on him.

He doesn't high five any athletico player haha. He acknowledges tiago who he has worked with at chelsea and walks off. Are you a daily mail journalist by any chance?

He has never been great at coming for cross balls or his kicking before and after his head injury.

I just think Courtois is the more complete package who can and will only get better.

Being number one for a CL finalist team and La liga leaders with 2-3 games to go show how special this kid is.

He's at the better club at the moment, why would he want to leave?

Well he has no choice really as he is our player come the summer.

ironic that Courtois had a big part in CFC not making the final,  in hindsight never lend the world's best young prospect between the sticks to

a direct European rival and rely on an unenforcable and untested contract clause to prevent him facing you in a CL semi

I really hope the unfathomable decisons by the Chelsea board come to an end this transfer window and whats best for the 1st team

is the context for ins and outs rather than the owner's whims or whomever the f elses' decisons that sometimes bemuse us all

You can't blame the board for a loan deal that's been a success.

I would bring Courtois back and slowly intergrate him into the team.

There are enough games with the PL, FA Cup, League Cup and CL. Cech does not have to play every match now and Courtois can eventually take the number one spot if he shows the kind of brilliant form that we have seen with Athletico over the last few years.

I really don't see that as an option.  Even though he is out player and we have ever right to - that is just going to piss him off.  "Well done on winning La Liga and the Champions League, Thibaut.  You are now good enough to play in the League Cup, and cover for Cech when he is injured."  Meanwhile, his contract whittles down, and we can't get anything like fair value for him.

The decision has to be made this summer, once and for all.  Unless he is extending his contract past 2016 with us this summer, we have to sell Cech or Courtois - this situtation really won't end well for the club, or either of the players if we made a timid half way house decision.

Regardless of the result at the Bridge I still think this is the time to go for Courtois. Cech's won everything with us. He is still the best in prem but Courtois would bring an added dimension to the squad and I think we are going to lose him if we don't take him back now.

If there is any sense at the very top of the club they will make sure Courtios and Lukaku come back and play for the rest of their days in Chelsea Blue

Courtois proved himself in the semis. He is fantastic in the air; what is he, 7 feet tall?  Made some tremendous saves and it took a lucky deflection to beat him.

But to be honest i hate Lukaku. He comes off as a little bitch.  Did you see Azpilicueta complain that he wasn't getting minutes at the beginning of the season? No. Lukaku bitched and moaned until he got loaned out.

alot of the teams in the botton half of spain would beat the bottom half prem teams.

There isnt a big difference in quality, just tempo, and playing styles.

I have to disagree. My father in law is a season ticket holder at Elche and from watching them the wouldn't even be top half in the championship.

I know you guys are so keen on Courtios and make this has made you a bit blinkered but do not let the starts convince you because Spain is an easier league.

The simple fact most Chelsea fans miss is the fact this kid consistently has more of an influence in games than any other player on the pitch and he has done this since he was a kid at Genk. He won the league by HIMSELF that year. Every team that plays against him know ONE goal is the probable maximum outcome. That is the SOLE reason we crumbled after they equalised midweek. Without question we will be talking about him being the best keeper IN HISTORY in a few years. Too many Chelsea fans are getting involved in SENTIMENT when it comes to Cech.

I cannot say it in anymore terms but it is like saying someone like Maradona, Best or Pele in their prime shouldn't replace an older star when their time was in question to stay or go. If we fail to bring him back this season the kid will haunt us for 10 years plus. He already has been part of a team who beat us twice in major games it would be ridiculous to let him go.
