May 13, 201313 yr I think he'll be considered the second best player in the world very soon, barring injury. Like Messi, and unlike Ronaldo, he plays with humility, playing for the team, that's what i love about him, he's not a show pony nor a diva, he is a team player and that's his most important quality. He is lucky to be playing alongside Mata, because Mata has the intelligence, vision, subtlety and technique needed to get the best out of him, in the same way Xavi and Iniesta complement Messi. You give those guys a top drawer striker to play with and, with Jose at the helm, I just don't see how anyone* will stop us. * I'm sure Roman will find a way though, just you watch. how anyone can say messi plays for the team is beyond me
May 13, 201313 yr how anyone can say messi plays for the team is beyond me yes, it is a mystery. well, a mystery if you're blind.
May 14, 201313 yr Dont know if anyone has seen this or posted it but I have no clue what they are saying but watching Hazard flick that dude's ear was pretty f**king hilarious.
May 14, 201313 yr Eden flicking Bentekes ear was quality indeed haha, KDB seems a bit quiet compared to the others! What a life they must be living, im jealous.
May 14, 201313 yr I have no clue what they are saying but watching Hazard flick that dude's ear was pretty f**king hilarious. Apparently Raidja Nainggolan told that the commentator said that Eden's brother Thorgan Hazard was not in in the game. Kevin De Bruyne said Oooh Hazaaard... Lukaku replied: Guys please. Don't talk like that. It's difficult to have a little brother and to have a big brother who plays well. Ask us *points at himself and Eden*. (General laughter).
May 15, 201313 yr Watching us struggle even with Hazard and Mata on the field makes me wonder how we ever coped with Malouda and Kalou. Two words Drogba...........................Torres
May 15, 201313 yr without doubt we are blessed to have a player of his quality in our ranks.he has everything as far as a complete footballer is concerned, and to think he is only 22.
May 16, 201313 yr Good lad Eden. Next season should see him emerge as a truly top level player in the league, and I can't wait to see it.
May 28, 201313 yr Carragher has come and said that Eden was the best player he's played against this season will be exceptional in the next few season. Must agree.
June 5, 201313 yr just seen Eden on SSN winding up the reporter. the guy's a brilliant footballer and a top, top character. so young but you can see he must have a positive influence on the dressing room with his banter. Jose will love him
June 5, 201313 yr Eden Hazard summed up the excitement at Chelsea as he welcomed the appointment of José Mourinho, although the Belgium winger said he may be too "intimidated" to train when the new manager oversees his first session. Hazard, who is preparing for his country's World Cup qualifier against Serbia in Brussels on Friday, referred to Mourinho as "special" and it was clear that the Portuguese's return to Stamford Bridge has fired his imagination. "They already knew for a long time at Chelsea that he was going to sign and they all told me that it would be a good thing for me," Hazard said. "José Mourinho is someone special and it's a pleasure to have him as a coach. "Maybe in the first training session I will be a bit intimidated – after all, it's José Mourinho. But he is also a man, with two arms and two legs and so, in the end, I will have a normal relationship with him, just as I have with my previous coaches." Hazard, who joined Chelsea for £32m from Lille last summer, was shortlisted for the PFA's player of the year award after an impressive season. He scored 13 goals in all competitions for the club but he is determined to show Mourinho that he can do better. "This season I gave a lot of assists but next season I want to score more goals … I want to score 50 or 60 like [Lionel] Messi or [Cristiano] Ronaldo," Hazard said, with a smile. "I lack that killer instinct. Messi and Ronaldo are born to score, it's in their nature but I still choose the nice dribble or the beautiful pass too often. I have to shoot more." Hazard said he would continue to embrace the competition for places at the club, which stands to be stoked further as Mourinho casts about for new signings. "Being linked to players is normal at big clubs, and certainly at Chelsea, where everyone knows the reputation of [the owner] Roman Abramovich," Hazard said. "He buys a lot of players. At such a club you never have time to rest. You have to be 100% all of the time. But even if Chelsea bought nobody, I would still have to fight for my position." - The Guardian

June 6, 201313 yr Great to hear that he wants to start shooting more often, I feel like often when he could run at his man and/or take a shot he is too selfless.
June 6, 201313 yr Give it another year under jose and he'll be firing in 40+ goals a season. He is going to be the best player chelsea have ever had, mark my words.
