Rio Ferdinand

Featured Replies

If all of this was pre-planned, how was he supposed to play for England in the first place? Come on Rio, own up! You're just an attention whore and a liar, aren't you?

We shouldn't be shocked that some tosser has selected him for his 'Europe's most loyal players XI', should we?

Ferdinand is probably one of the toughest players to ever play football at the highest level. Throughout his career the english international has faced numerous injuries but was always able to come back even stronger.

Speechless.....

Ferdinand's loyal? I'm sure West Ham and Leeds agree. As for that tough bit, if you changed Ferdinand's name with Terry, it would actually make sense. Terry's a one club man and the tougher and better player as well.

It's a real poser... :-)

Good quote from the Mail:

"The Ferdinand camp say...he'll have the sun on his back while he rests up..." !

Ferdinand has a camp?

Ew why are Al-Jazeera bothering with an invalid like Rio Ferdinand?

They think they have found a talking Camel

Well, he picked Gerrard in the team as well and wrote the following:

"Currently the Reds captain is at his 15th season at Anfield with has shown no signs of wanting to leave any time soon."

Yeah, he hasn't shown signs of wanting to leave since 2005. Loyal? :happy001:

f**king Gerard? Loyal?

"Steven has told us he will not accept our offer of an improved and extended contract because he wants to leave," a Liverpool club statement read.

And Ferdinand over JT?!

You ever wonder how it would have worked out had Gerrard signed? Would he have been a success for us or a hindrance to our midfield?

Although I'm sure in the 9 pages there is numerous evidence to back up the claim - for me the title is sufficient enough, says it all.

Folks comparing Rio Ferdinand with a camel are well out of order.

Only one is a foul smelling, bad tempered,slobbering beast......................the other's a camel.

I'm a touch suprised to find Rio has kids, because dosen't he like to 'pull out' at the last moment?.

What a grade a w**ker.

Seems England fans have been reported for racism for a chant saying that Rio should be burnt on a fire.

Not terribly convinced that there's much racist about it but this story will probably run for a while and go out of control again.

No doubt it's our fault.

Talking of Rio and racism. A Chelsea fan has just been banned from the Bridge for 10 years after being found NOT guilty of allegedly calling him exactly what JT was accused of calling his brother. He admitted to calling him a c**t and the club decided that was enough to impose the ban for foul and abusive language.

So not only are the FA above the law and like to bend the rules, but the club are now taking the same stance towards supporters.

Apparently Rio and Anton were targeted by fans at the last England match....... You think someone called him chgoc ice or something?  oh wait, it was Rio directing that racial term to ACole.  I do get mixed up as to what side of the racism Rio is on, the perpetrator or the victim.

Absolutely disgraceful. Whoever decided to ban him from the Bridge is a massive c**t.

people keep forgetting that the Ferdinand's are the victims in all of this

hope JT can vouch for his whereabouts on Tuesday night...I can feel another accusation coming on using cicumstancial evidence

f**king hell, what a joke. Even our own club are becoming soft now. People say things like this all the time, they will need to ban them as well then. What is it with all this sticking up for the Ferdinand's all the time ? screw them, they are nothing but a bunch of cry baby, race card excuse, twats.

I've never noticed that Rio has never won the FA Cup (I usually try to ignore him). It must feel disappointing for an English player. Sure, he's won just about everything else there is to be won in club football, but no FA Cup.

Even better in that this was the second time he'd been skinned by Demba in exactly the same way. He didn't learn the first time it seems
