But it's unfair targeting of JT. A few weeks back there were reports about a newspaper trying to get dirt on his mum, and now this!

Yes, it's unfair. The problem is that, by linking to the story and discussing it on here, you're playing right into their hands. They want pageviews. They'll write whatever they need to get them. It just so happens that, unfortunately, writing dishonest stories about John Terry is a great way to accumulate the aforementioned pageviews.

The media are scum, simple as that. This world is so f**ked up that we can't even make up our own minds, we get people in the media to do that for us. If anyone has formed an opinion on someone because of something they have read in the papers or anywhere else then they are a bunch of retarded morons.

if giggs, rooney, ferdinand, nani etc played for chelsea instead of united they would all have retired by now. the media, including daily mail, are scared of Ferguson and United

Because these are the stories that interest the public...Gone are the days of real reporters..Today we have hacks who are able to write any crap as long as they say ..."according to someone close ".............Real journalists still exist. Alas there are few

Interesting headline from the Daily Star, linked to from the official site's Rumour Mill:

CHELSEA SKIPPER JOHN TERRY IN FA COIN PROBE

Interesting did I say? How about deliberately misleading, or maybe plain simple garbage. From the headline you may well draw the conclusion that John Terry is to be the subject of yet another investigation, but no - it turns out that both the FA and the police are to investigate incidents of coins thrown at John Terry. By West Ham fans.

The article goes on to state that "both clubs will face an FA probe." Both? So not only do the Star manage to avoid mention of West Ham fans in the headline as the perpetrators, but the FA are apparently intent on ensuring that Chelsea FC take their share of the blame for allowing West Ham fans to take coins into the ground, and for failing to prevent these self-same pikies from choosing to dig deep into their ill gotten life savings in order to use John Terry for target practice.

What makes me laugh is that people actually get outraged about this sort of thing.

A man gets out of his car and walks home whilst a friend, who was probably already in the car finishes his journey.

Not like a man with a wife and two kids and the club captain has better things to do than sit in traffic is it?

There is a clear agenda amongst certain journalists and newspapers to completely tarnish the image of certain footballers whilst hold the image of others in a Saint like way.

Players like John Terry and Ashely Cole are treated appallingly by certain members of the press and they continue to print complete non-stories and add on events that happened ten years ago that is completely irrelevant.

Then we have other players like Ryan Giggs, Rio Ferdinand, Stephen Gerrard and Wayne Rooney with their countless list of indiscretions that seem to be forgotten.

Of course opposing fans buy into this press related image believing players like John Terry is Lucifer and Ryan Giggs should be knighted. It's quite frankly ridiculous!

Rare gem from Fat Sam:

Hammers boss Sam Allardyce said: "I didn't see any of that because it doesn't interest me.

"All that interests me is how Frank sneaks into the box without anyone noticing."

What a sh*t article. Especially when he said jt ran out of the dugout to celebrate when lamps scored, but it was lamps who ran over to Jt while he was out warming up. West ham fans threw coins but jt comes out the one in the wrong. I hate the media.

It's strange it's not just Chelsea. The last time hamsters fans were throwing coins (picture Kezman with a bleeding head and I'm sure you'll recall it) at the Bridge the FA pusnished Chelsea FC for failing to control the fans...

Notice how their racist abuse has has little coverage,if that was Chelsea it would be front page news and take up most of the news casts.

I am sorry but why do people love to use this argument. OK its one thing to say the media are scared of Ferguson so they write very little about him.But players like rooney and ferdinand get the same sort of treatment by the press like everybody else.
