El Shaarawy

Doesn't he play out on the left? Or did he get moved there because of Balotelli's arrival in January? Either way, he was good in the beginning of the season but inconsistent. Also there are rumours that Napoli want him to replace Cavani.

He can pretty much play on either wing or as a striker. His haircut is beyond stupid but other than that I cannot fault him. Sign him up!

only scored 1 goal since balotelli signed. I really like him, but he does play from the left so it would be either him or schurrle, but I cant imagine milan selling for under 25m, and for player that will be having eden hazard to compete with is a little costly.

can play up top though and is lightning quick id prefer him to schurrle if it was a straight choice between the 2.

Didnt Jose say last week that he has no interest in the player, saying something about him being more interested in his hair cuts than scoring goals.

That was supposedly in relation to Kevin Prince Boateng... but I'm not convinced he actually said that. It seems like one of those quotes that does the rounds on twitter and is just made up.

Milan wont be selling him, thats ridiculous, he pledged his future to Milan several times in that past year, can't see it happening. Also the Milan president has said they're rebuilding their team after last season.

Although, I think he's a quality player with a bunch of potential to be top class. Would prefer him to Schurrle, but he won't be leaving Milan. If such a scenario were to arise, I hope Jose and the lads on the board sign him up.

Exactly my thoughts. He and Balotelli are clearly Milan's future, what motivation do they have to sell him after he's stepped up and become part of their first XI?

Better than Oscar, but not needed really. If we manage to sign a quality striker and El Shaarawy then we could be one hell of an attacking force!

--------------------------------------------------------Rooney/Lukaku/Ba

El Shaarawy/Schurrle--------------------------------Hazard/Oscar-------------------------------Mata/Moses/Piazon

----------------------------------Fellaini/Lampard------------------------Ramires/Essien/Romeu

Really? Not in my opinion, I have yet to see have anything other than a half decent game. Granted I have only seen him around half a dozen times, but always flattered to deceive.

We don't need him as we have enough in the positions that he plays in. I doubt he'd get as much game time as he wanted.

IF we were to sign him I think he would play upfront and be a fall back on Lewandowski Cavani and Falcao. Maybe even Jovetic but he would be plan A and Lukaku plan B or the other way round. I might be wrong but thought he played through the centre when he was impressing then they signed Balotelli so moved him to the left.

he could be our livewire striker. I don't really see this happening to be candid but Torres as morphed from a striker to something irrecognizable. Lukaku and Ba are CFs, we need someone you is small quick, and deadly. someone that can drop into any postion in the attacking 4 positions, link up play and score goals and aside from Rooney ( who will come to attendant pressures), El sharrawy s a good option. whether AC Milan is willingly to sell and we are willingly to buy however is not ascertainable

hes a WUM so i wouldnt take his posts seriously

Would be a superb signing, but our AM options are already very strong, and I'm not sure if he's the right fit for us as a CF.

There's a wee mention of a possible De Rossi bid within that Express article, and central midfield is a position we could do with strengthening. Personally hope more that something comes of that rumour.

I wouldn't mind El Shaarawy personally as I feel Jose would play him as a striker so we would have him Lukaku and Ba, if Torres is sold. Being able to choose between 2 very different options for the striker role and then having Ba as backup would make alot of sense.

Being reported on the radio over here this morning as a possible swap deal with Torres being offered to them. El Shaaraway is allegedly one of Jose's primary targets.

Not a lot about it online yet. This is one of the few links to the story I could find.

I just can't see Torres being used in part exchange.

How often do you actually see high profile names being used in a part exchange deal?

In Italy between clubs it seems fairly common place but I don't really remember many occasions English clubs have done it.

Seems like the Times is also reporting the same.

El Shaarway is pretty gifted, but he's not the biggest striker. He's damn quick though, he was playing as a winger a lot in the Italy matches during the confed cup, he made a lot of outside left wing to left channel runs, which is right where Hazard likes to be. Frankly I'd still prefer Lewandowski.

I heard Shaarawy wanted to ask Ruby the heartstealer on a date but big Silvio forbid it.

Berlusconi then cancelled plans to go for icecream with IL FARONE to get back at him, and took Balotelli instead. Berlu told Mario he had a better haircut too, adding insult to injury.

The two are now clearly on the outs. Jose should strike before they kiss and make up, and introduce the boy to his hairstylist in London.
