I am just fine with this. I've watched most Atletico games this season on sky and Costa looks an absolutely class striker, albeit he has cooled off a little after their winter break.

Hope it's interesting in the right way though!  As I said, I really don't want it to be Shrek.  I didn't want him when he was linked with us last year.  He's now another year older (of course, but you know what I mean) and ok he's had a good season but I can just see another Torres situation and to have that after giving them Mata would be unbearable. 

 

So I want him even less than I wanted him last summer.  And I didn't think that was possible.

I'm loving that. Sounds like Jose has someone lined up and the groundwork has been laid. That's good enough for me. And if that means being patient and actually waiting to get the player Mourinho wants rather than signing the owner's latest overpriced, has-been fantasy, then that is yet another sign we are moving in the right direction as a club.

I don't get how this is exciting or news? Surely it was bloody obvious that we were going to sign a striker in the summer, in fact its fukin mind boggling how it didn't happen last summer.

As for who, well in the summer just gone I really wanted Rooney, I've always been a massive fan and I think we'd have won the league this year with him in the team. Next summer, no thank you. He's reached the stage in his career where it's too late to be signing someone like that. Another nothing press conference as far as I'm concerned.

You know when Christmas is coming, but you still get excited.
