I hope we do something to address centre midfield though, I really can't see rlc given a chance if I'm honest, if he had been bought like zouma then he would have featured more.

Question is who would people like to see come in instead? I think there is a few that could add quality to centre midfield, witsel, moutinho, Gundogan, pjanic, and parejo, would all be great additions.

Then there is maybe tielemans and andre gomes, who would be more of gamble, but could still contribute significantly now, and with potential to be a top player.

Koke has already turned us down earlier in the summer, so I think he is even less likely than pogba in the next 3 days.

To put into perspective the wages he wants suarez is on 200k at Barca, neymar is on 150k, according to reports today pogba wants 318k! I do think its excessive.

There's only so many players the Spanish clubs can sign. It's not a given that every sought after player ends up there... I don't get this whole attitude of. "they're going to end up at Barca or Real".

The Pogba link to us is probably the strongest it's ever been. Very unlikely to happen at such a late stage but we must have some encouragement from the player that he would be willing to sign for us to have apparently entered negotiations with Juventus.

If your spending tens of millions on a player you need them to be available for everything, buying in January has been proven very risky and is far more hit than miss.

Having seen Oscar's celebration with his opening day goal, I would say he's potentially looking for a transfer. Part of a swap deal for Pogba would be fine by me.
