Definitely someone to keep an eye on in the next 1-2 years, he's made it clear he wishes to remain at Juve for the time being but he's a grade above anyone we have in his position so if the opportunity arises in 2015 we can launch a serious bid.

That's how agents get an extra 5mil out of a deal and a bumper in the weekly wage for the player. If we offer Juve 60 mil pounds as reported they will make a 60 mil profit as they paid nothing to bring Pogba from United.

I think de Guzman is excellent, just not necessarily on the same level as a world-class €60m midfielder.

He's not quite the finished article but some of the stuff he pulls off is just delicious. He has everything you want from a CM. Mourinho spoke last season of his admiration for the City midfield pairing - both Fernandinho and Toure being capable in all facets of the game. Matic and Pogba sounds like it would be his dream pairing.

Matic and Pogba would be dominant. We need to make these big signings if we want to win the league because even with the signing of Cesc, Costa and Luis, City have a stronger side on paper IMO.

Don't forget Toure didn't get his birthday cake slice and has thrown the rattle from the pram. Who knows if he will even he there or better yet be there but unhappy and disturbing the club. So glad we don't have a player similar to him and with his attitude.

When Mikel comes on as a sub or starts for Chelsea I say in my mind WHY GOD WHY!

disagree, and struggle to see how it makes me look daft by disregarding "the good games" he has had over the last 7 years. I cant think of many games in which mikel has been a standout, top class midfielder, dictating play and really taking control and making the difference.

The overwhelming majority of games he has played in the last 7 odd years have been distinctly average; to suggest it is "daft" to adopt this standpoint and instead drool over 3 decent games 2 years ago really does not make sense at all.

Do believe we, have debated this old chestnut not so long ago, you are not paid for your views, only Chelsea FC managers & coaches are & they differ from your assessment of John Mikel Obi, by a long way.
